The inner and outer coverings of the tabernacle were each made of two large curtains held together by 50 clasps which passed through curved sections of blue cord for the inner tent or of leather for the outer tent (Exodus 26:4-5 ,Exodus 26:4-5,26:10-11; Exodus 36:11-12 ,Exodus 36:11-12,36:17 ).
