informed ... = a technical word which implies and indictment of charges. See NASB

quietness ... peace. Felix had restored tranquility. He had routed bands of robbers and assassins.
providence ... like that of God. Coins read "Providence of Caesar" in flattery.

tedious ... weary, don’t want to detain you too long.
clemency ... idea of equitable consideration. Flattery, for Felix was an avaricious man, not a lover of righteousness.
