¹ And again the anger of Yahweh was kindled against Israel, and he moved David against them, saying, Go, number Israel and Judah. ¹ Once again the anger of the Lord burned against Israel, and he caused David to harm them by taking a census. Notwithstanding the king's word prevailed against Joab, and against the captains of the host,....
