¹ A Song of Ascents. Blessed is every one that fears Yahweh, That walks in his ways.² For you shall eat the labor of your hands: Happy you shall be, and it shall be well with you.³ Your wife shall be as a fruitful vine, In the innermost parts of your house; Your sons like olive plants, Round about your table.⁴ Look, thus shall the [able-bodied] man be blessed That fears Yahweh.⁵ Yahweh shall bless you out of Zion: And you shall see the good of Jerusalem all the days of your life.⁶ Yes, you shall see the sons of your sons.
