Revelation 16
Then a voice echoed throughout heaven and said, "Release God's anger on the earth!"
The first angel flung the contents of his bowl on the earth like someone throwing out dirty dishwater. Suddenly, those with the brand of the beast got sores all over the bodies. These people wailed and cried at the pain inflicted by the contents of the bowl.
Then the second angel poured his bowl into the sea. The water became like thick, congealed blood of someone who was dead. Every living thing in the sea died.
The third angel watched all this happen and the poured out his bowl in the rivers and springs of the earth. Just like the sea, they all turned to blood.
This angel cried out, "This is right, O Holy One. Your judgments are fair and just. You are the one who is, was, and will be. 6 These people didn't flinch when they poured out the blood of your prophets and cowboys, so you have given them blood to drink. It is time to pay the fiddler." 7 Then a voice from the throne room said, "Mighty God! True and just are your judgments upon the earth."8 The fourth angel stepped forth and poured his bowl upon the sun. The sun's fire intensified and
everyone with the brand of the beast was burned and scorched. They cussed God, but would not turn from their sins. They scoffed at his power and greatness.10 The fifth angel poured his bowl upon the throne of the beast. Darkness permeated its kingdom like a living force. People bit their own tongues off from the pain of the darkness.
Still they cussed God and didn't turn away from their sins.12 The sixth angel poured out his bowl upon the mighty Euphrates Creek. The creek became a dry riverbed for the kings of the East to travel down easily.
Then I saw three demons that looked like frogs come from the mouth of the dragon, the beast, and its puppet (who is the false prophet). 14 These demons could perform miracles and they went out to the kings of the earth. They gathered them together for battle against the Lord on the day of the Almighty God and his judgement.15 "Stay awake on night watch! I come like a thief at night. Blessed are those who stay dressed and awake. Those who don't will run around the streets naked and ashamed."
The demon frogs inhabiting the kings of the earth came to do battle with God at the place in Hebrew called Armageddon.
The seventh angel poured out his bowl upon the air. A loud voice from the throne room of God said, "The last bowl has been emptied! It is done!"
Earthquakes, thunder, and lightning ripped the earth apart. This was the largest earthquake since the beginning of creation. 19 The great city was torn into thirds and every city in every country was utterly destroyed. God especially remembered Babylon and made her drink directly from the bowl of his anger. 20 Every mountain and island on the earth disappeared. 21 Hundred-pound chunks of ice fell from the sky on the people who continued to cuss God because of the plagues of his wrath.Simplified Cowboy Version
