When they arrived at the place called The Skull, they crucified him there, along with the criminals, one on the right and one on the left.
And when they were come to the place which is called Caluarie, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left.

accordingly, when they came to the place call'd Calvary, they crucified him there, and the two malefactors; the one at his right, the other at his left.
When they got to the place called Skull Hill, they crucified him, along with the criminals, one on his right, the other on his left.
When they got to Skull Hill, they nailed Jesus to a cross and lifted him up for all to see. The outlaws were also put on crosses—one on the left and one on Jesus's right.

And when they were come to the place which was called Calvary,.... Or Cranion, which signifies a skull; so called from the skulls of persons that lay about, who were executed. It is a tradition of the ancients y, that Adam was buried in this place where Christ was crucified, and that his skull lay here. It was usual to crucify on high places, and on mountains, such an one as this was z:
there they crucified him, and the malefactors; the two thieves;
one on the right hand, and the other on the left; and so fulfilled the prophecy in Isaiah 53:12.
