If he marries her to his son, he shall deal with her after the manner of daughters.
And if he have betrothed her unto his son, he shall deal with her after the manner of daughters.
And if he selects her for his son, he shall do for her according to the regulations for daughters.
If the man who bought her promises to let the woman marry his son, he must treat her as a daughter.
If he designated her for his son, then he will deal with her according to the customary rights of daughters.
"If her master chooses her [as a wife] for his son, he shall act toward her as if she were legally his daughter.
"And if he designates her for his son, he shall deal with her according to the custom of daughters.
But if he hath betrothed her vnto his sonne, he shal deale with her according to the custome of the daughters.
And if he designates her for his son, he shall do to her according to the custom of daughters.

If he has her marry his son, then he is to treat her like a daughter.
And if he have appointed her unto his son, he shall deal with her after the law of daughters.
If the master promised to let the slave woman marry his son, he must treat her like a daughter, not like a slave.
If he designates her for his son, he shall deal with her as with a daughter.
And if he takes her for wife to his son, then he shall deal with her after the manner of daughters.
If a man buys a female slave to give to his son, he is to treat her like a daughter.
Or if he chooses her for his son, he must deal with her according to the customary treatment of daughters.

Yf he promyse her vnto his sonne, then shal he do vnto her after the lawe of doughters.
And if he espouse her unto his son, he shall deal with her after the manner of daughters.
And if he gives her to his son, he is to do everything for her as if she was his daughter.
If he haue promysed her vnto his sonne to wyfe, he shall deale with her as men do with their daughters.

Forsothe if he weddith hir to his sonne, he schal do to hir `bi the custom of douytris;
`And if to his son he betroth her, according to the right of daughters he doth to her.

Sarai, Abram's wife, hadn't yet produced a child. She had an Egyptian maid named Hagar. Sarai said to Abram, " God has not seen fit to let me have a child. Sleep with my maid. Maybe I can get a family from her." Abram agreed to do what Sarai said.
"And Ishmael? Yes, I heard your prayer for him. I'll also bless him; I'll make sure he has plenty of children—a huge family. He'll father twelve princes; I'll make him a great nation. But I'll establish my covenant with Isaac whom Sarah will give you about this time next year."
God visited Sarah exactly as he said he would; God did to Sarah what he promised: Sarah became pregnant and gave Abraham a son in his old age, and at the very time God had set. Abraham named him Isaac. When his son was eight days old, Abraham circumcised him just as God had commanded.
Abraham was a hundred years old when his son Isaac was born. Sarah said, God has blessed me with laughter and all who get the news will laugh with me!
Abraham got up early the next morning, got some food together and a canteen of water for Hagar, put them on her back and sent her away with the child. She wandered off into the desert of Beersheba. When the water was gone, she left the child under a shrub and went off, fifty yards or so. She said, "I can't watch my son die." As she sat, she broke into sobs.
Abraham said, "I swear it."
So the couriers set out, going from city to city through the country of Ephraim and Manasseh, as far north as Zebulun. But the people poked fun at them, treated them as a joke. But not all; some from Asher, Manasseh, and Zebulun weren't too proud to accept the invitation and come to Jerusalem. It was better in Judah—God worked powerfully among them to make it unanimous, responding to the orders sent out by the king and his officials, orders backed up by the word of God .
"But no longer. Now I'm the butt of their jokes— young ruffians! whippersnappers! Why, I considered their fathers mere inexperienced pups. But they are worse than dogs—good for nothing, stray, mangy animals, Half-starved, scavenging the back alleys, howling at the moon; Homeless guttersnipes chewing on old bones and licking old tin cans; Outcasts from the community, cursed as dangerous delinquents. Nobody would put up with them; they were driven from the neighborhood. You could hear them out there at the edge of town, yelping and barking, huddled in junkyards, A gang of beggars and no-names, thrown out on their ears.
And here I am, a nothing—an earthworm, something to step on, to squash. Everyone pokes fun at me; they make faces at me, they shake their heads: "Let's see how God handles this one; since God likes him so much, let him help him!"
Young people eventually reveal by their actions if their motives are on the up and up.

And if he have betrothed her unto his son,.... Not caring to betroth and marry her himself, as being more suitable in age for his son than for himself;
he shall deal with her after the manner of daughters; as if she was his daughter, and give her a dowry: or the son shall treat her after the manner the daughters of Israel are treated when married, by giving her food, raiment, and the duty of marriage, so Jarchi: or after the manner of the daughters of Israel that are virgins, and who are not sold, as Aben Ezra.

Verse Exodus 21:9. Betrothed her unto his son, he shall deal with her — He shall give her the same dowry he would give to one of his own daughters. From these laws we learn, that if a man's son married his servant, by his father's consent, the father was obliged to treat her in every respect as a daughter; and if the son married another woman, as it appears he might do, Exodus 21:10, he was obliged to make no abatement in the privileges of the first wife, either in her food, raiment, or duty of marriage. The word ענתה onathah, here, is the same with St. Paul's οφειλομενην ευνοιαν, the marriage debt, and with the ομιλιαν of the Septuagint, which signifies the cohabitation of man and wife.
