Ascribe to Yahweh Glory and Strength

^1 (C1)Sing to Yahweh a ^(C2)new song;
Sing to Yahweh, all the earth.

² Sing to Yahweh, bless His name;
^(C1)Proclaim good news of His salvation from day to day.

³ Recount ^(C1)His glory among the nations,
His wondrous deeds among all the peoples.

⁴ For ^(C1)great is Yahweh and ^(C2)greatly to be praised;
He is ^(F1)more ^(F2)(C3)fearsome ^(C4)than all gods.

⁵ For ^(C1)all the gods of the peoples are ^(F1)idols,
But ^(C2)Yahweh made the heavens.

^6 (C1)Splendor and majesty are before Him,
Strength and beauty are in His sanctuary.

^7 (F1)Ascribe to Yahweh, O ^(C1)families of the peoples,
^(F1)(C2)Ascribe to Yahweh glory and strength.

⁸ Ascribe to Yahweh the ^(C1)glory of His name;
Lift up ^(F1)an ^(C2)offering and come into His courts.

^9 (C1)Worship Yahweh in the splendor of holiness;
^(C2)Tremble before Him, all the earth.

¹⁰ Say among the nations, "^(C1)Yahweh ^(F1)reigns;
Indeed, the ^(C1)world is established, it will not be shaken;
He will ^(C2)render justice to the peoples with ^(F2)equity."

¹¹ Let the ^(C1)heavens be glad, and let the ^(C2)earth rejoice;
Let ^(C3)the sea ^(F1)roar, as well as its fullness;

¹² Let the ^(C1)field exult, and all that is in it.
Then all the ^(C2)trees of the forest will sing for joy

¹³ Before Yahweh, ^(C1)for He is coming,
For He is coming to judge the earth.
^(C2)He will judge the world in righteousness
And the peoples in His faithfulness.
