We Will Boast in the Name of Yahweh

¹ May Yahweh answer you ^(C1)in the day of distress!
May the ^(C2)name of the ^(C3)God of Jacob set you securely on high!

² May He send you help ^(C1)from the sanctuary
And ^(C2)uphold you from Zion!

³ May He ^(C1)remember all your meal offerings
And ^(C2)find your burnt offering ^(F1)acceptable! ^Selah may mean Pause, Crescendo, Musical Interlude">(F2)Selah.

⁴ May He grant you your ^(C1)heart's desire
And ^(C2)fulfill all your ^(F1)counsel!

^5 (F1)We will ^(C1)sing for joy over your salvation,
And in the name of our God we will ^(C2)set up our banners.
May Yahweh ^(C3)fulfill all your petitions.

⁶ Now ^(C1)I know that Yahweh saves His anointed;
He will ^(C2)answer him from His holy heaven
With the ^(F1)(C3)saving might of His right hand.

⁷ Some boast in chariots and some in ^(C1)horses,
But ^(C2)we will ^(F1)boast in the name of Yahweh, our God.

⁸ They have ^(C1)bowed down and fallen,
But we have ^(C2)risen and stood upright.

^9 (F1)(C1)Save, O Yahweh;
May the ^(C2)King answer us in the day we call.
