Praise Yahweh!

Praise Yahweh ^(C1)from the heavens;
Praise Him ^(C2)in the heights!

² Praise Him, ^(C1)all His angels;
Praise Him, ^(C2)all His hosts!

³ Praise Him, sun and moon;
Praise Him, all stars of light!

⁴ Praise Him, ^(C1)heavens of heavens,
And the ^(C2)waters that are above the heavens!

⁵ Let them praise the name of Yahweh,
For ^(C1)He commanded and they were created.

⁶ He caused them to ^(C1)stand forever and ever;
He gave a ^(C2)statute and it will never pass away.

⁷ Praise Yahweh from the earth,
^(C1)Sea monsters and all ^(C2)deeps;

^8 (C1)Fire and hail, ^(C2)snow and ^(C3)clouds;
^(C4)Stormy wind, ^(C5)doing His word;

^9 (C1)Mountains and all hills;
Fruit ^(C2)trees and all cedars;

^10 (C1)Beasts and all cattle;
^(C2)Creeping things and winged bird;

^11 (C1)Kings of the earth and all peoples;
Princes and all ^(F1)judges of the earth;

¹² Both choice men as well as virgins;
The old with the young.

¹³ Let them praise the name of Yahweh,
For His ^(C1)name alone is set on high;
His ^(C2)splendor is above earth and heaven.

¹⁴ And He has ^(C1)raised up a horn for His people,
^(C2)Praise for all His holy ones;
For the sons of Israel, a people ^(C3)near to Him.
