I Will Give Thanks to Your Name

^1 (C1)I will give You thanks with all my heart;
I will sing praises to You before the ^(C2)gods.

² I will worship ^(C1)toward Your holy temple
And ^(C2)give thanks to Your name for Your lovingkindness and Your ^(F1)truth;
For You have ^(C3)magnified Your ^(F2)word ^(F3)according to all Your name.

³ On the day I ^(C1)called, You answered me;
You made me bold with ^(C2)strength in my soul.

^4 (C1)All the kings of the earth, O Yahweh, will give You thanks,
When they hear the words of Your mouth.

⁵ And they will ^(C1)sing of the ways of Yahweh,
For ^(C2)great is the glory of Yahweh.

⁶ For ^(C1)Yahweh is high,
Yet He ^(C2)sees the lowly,
But the ^(C3)one who exalts himself He knows from afar.

⁷ Though I ^(C1)walk in the midst of ^(F1)distress, You will ^(F2)(C2)revive me;
You will ^(C3)stretch forth Your hand against the wrath of my enemies,
And Your right hand will ^(C4)save me.

⁸ Yahweh will ^(C1)accomplish what concerns me;
O Yahweh, Your ^(C2)lovingkindness endures forever;
^(C3)Do not fail the ^(C4)works of Your hands.
