Yahweh Surrounds His People

¹ Those who trust in Yahweh
Are as Mount Zion, which ^(C1)will not be shaken but ^(C2)will abide forever.

² As the mountains surround Jerusalem,
So ^(C1)Yahweh surrounds His people
^(C2)From now until forever.

³ For the ^(C1)scepter of wickedness shall not rest upon the ^(F1)land of the righteous,
So that the righteous ^(C2)would not send forth their hands in unrighteousness.

^4 (C1)Do good, O Yahweh, to those who are good
And to those who are ^(C2)upright in their hearts.

⁵ But as for those who ^(C1)turn aside to their ^(C2)crooked ways,
Yahweh will lead them away with the ^(C3)workers of iniquity.
^(C4)Peace be upon Israel.
