When a servant saw him sitting in the light, and looked closely at him, she said, “This man was with him too.”
But a certaine maide beheld him as he sate by the fire, and earnestly looked vpon him, and said, This man was also with him.
But a certain maid beheld him as he sat by the fire, and earnestly looked upon him, and said, This man was also with him.
Then a servant girl, seeing him as he sat in the light and looking closely at him, said, "This man also was with him."
And a slave woman, seeing him as he sat in the firelight, and staring at him, said, "This man was with Him as well."
A servant girl saw Peter sitting there in the firelight, and looking closely at him, she said, "This man was also with him."
And a servant-girl, seeing him as he sat in the firelight and looking intently at him, said, "This man was with Him too."
And a servant-girl, seeing him as he sat in the firelight and looking intently at him, said, "This man was with Him too."
A servant girl saw him seated in the firelight and looked intently at him. "This man also was with Him," she said.
and a servant girl saw him. Then after she had looked at him carefully, she said, "This man was with Jesus!"
One of the servant girls saw him sitting in the light of the fire, stared at him and said, "This man also was with him."
And a certain maid, having seen him sitting by the light, and having fixed her eyes upon him, said, And this [man] was with him.
A servant girl saw him sitting there. She could see because of the light from the fire. She looked closely at Peter's face. Then she said, "This man was also with Jesus."
And a certaine mayde behelde him as hee sate by the fire, and hauing well looked on him, said, This man was also with him.
And a young woman saw him sitting by the fire, and she looked at him and said, This man also was with him.
When one of the servant women saw him sitting there at the fire, she looked straight at him and said, "This man too was with Jesus!"
And a certain female slave, seeing him sitting in the light and looking intently at him, said, "This man also was with him!"
And a certain female slave seeing him sitting near the light, and looking intently at him, she said, And this one was with Him.
And a certain maid seeing him as he sat in the light of the fire, and looking stedfastly upon him, said, This man also was with him.
And a certain woman-servant, seeing him in the light of the fire, and looking at him with attention, said, This man was with him.
A certain servant girl saw him as he sat in the light, and looking intently at him, said, "This man also was with him."
A servant girl saw him sitting by the fire, stared at him, and said, "This man was with him, too."
And a certain damsel saw him as he sat by the fire, and, looking at him, she said, This also was with him.
And a certain maid saw him sitting at the fire, and she looked upon him, and said: This man also was with him.
But when a certayne wenche behelde hym, as he sate by the fire [and earnestlye loked vpon hym] she sayde: This same felowe was also with hym.
And a certain maid seeing him as he sat in the light of the fire, and looking stedfastly upon him, said, This man also was with him.
A certain servant girl saw him as he sat in the light, and looking intently at him, said, "This man also was with him."
But a certain maid seeing him as he sat by the light, and looking earnestly upon him, said, This man also was with him.
when a maidservant saw him sitting by the fire, and, looking fixedly at him, she said, "This man also was with him."
Whom whanne a damysel hadde seyn sittynge `at the liyt, and hadde biholdun hym, sche seide, And this was with hym.
And a certain female slave seeing him as he sat in the light [of the fire], and looking steadfastly on him, said, This man also was with him.
But a certain maid beheld him as he sat by the fire, and earnestly looked upon him, and said, This man was also with him.

A servant girl noticed him in the firelight and began staring at him. Finally she said, "This man was one of Jesus' followers!"
One of the servant-girls saw Peter as he sat by the fire and looked right at him. She said, "This man was with Jesus also."
Then a servant-girl, seeing him in the firelight, stared at him and said, "This man also was with him."
But, a certain maid-servant, seeing him seating himself towards the light, and looking steadfastly at him, said - This one also, was, with him.
Whom when a certain servant maid had seen sitting at the light and had earnestly beheld him, she said: This man also was with him.
Then a maid, seeing him as he sat in the light and gazing at him, said, "This man also was with him."
And wone of the wenches behelde him as he sate by the fyer and set good eyesight on him and sayde: this same was also with him.
and a certain maid having seen him sitting at the light, and having earnestly looked at him, she said, `And this one was with him!'
Then a damsell sawe him syttinge by the light, and behelde him well, and sayde vnto him: This same was also with him.
but one of the servants seeing him by the fire, star'd him in the face, and said, this man was with him too.
A maid who worked for the high preacher saw him and said, "That cowboy right there rides with Jesus."

But a certain maid beheld him,.... Looked upon him, and took notice of him, and observed his countenance and gesture: as he sat by the fire; or light; :-. And both by the light of the fire, and other lights, which were doubtless in the hall, she discovered something in him, which made her look at him again with some earnestness;
and earnestly looked upon him, and said, this man was also with him; that fellow, that vile and contemptible wretch, now examining before the high priest; thus in a contemptuous manner, as was the custom and style of that nation, she disdained to mention the name of Jesus; though the Persic version here expresses it; and her sense was, that Peter was one of that clan, a disciple of his, and was only come hither as a spy.
