He went into the temple and began to throw out those who were selling,
And he went into the Temple, and began to cast out them that solde therein, and them that bought,
And he went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought;

Jesus went into the house of God. He made those leave who were buying and selling there.
Then he entered the temple and began to drive out those who were selling things there;
And, entering into the temple, he began to be casting out them who were selling;
And entering into the temple, he began to cast out them that sold therein and them that bought.
And he entered the temple and began to drive out those who sold,
And he went in to the temple and begane to cast out them that solde therin and them that bought
And having entered into the temple, he began to cast forth those selling in it, and those buying,
And he wente into the temple, and begane to dryue out them that bought and solde therin,
As soon as he entred into the temple, he drove out the sellers and buyers there: telling them it is written,
Going into the Temple he began to throw out everyone who had set up shop, selling everything and anything. He said, "It's written in Scripture, My house is a house of prayer; You have turned it into a religious bazaar."
Then Jesus walked into the main church area and began driving out those who were selling animals for sacrifices.

And he went into the temple,.... Being come into the city, he alighted from the colt he rode on, and having committed it to the care of a proper person to return it to the owner, he went up directly to the temple, of which he was the Lord and proprietor, and where he had some work to do the few days he had to live.
And began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought; that traded in sheep, and oxen, and doves; see John 2:15. The Ethiopic version adds here, as there, "and overthrew, the tables of the money changers, and the seats of them that sold doves".
