Jesus' followers answered, "But we are far away from any towns. Where can we get enough bread to feed all these people?"
And his disciples answered him: where shuld a man have breade here in the wildernes to satisfie these?
His disciples answered him, "Where could anyone get enough bread to feed these people out here in the wilderness?"
And His disciples replied to Him, "Where will anyone be able to find enough bread here in this desolate place to satisfy these people?"

"Where can we possibly get bread here in this remote place to satisfy such a crowd?" answered His disciples.
And hise disciplis answerden to hym, Wherof schal a man mowe fille hem with looues here in wildirnesse?
And his disciples answered him, Whence shall one be able to fill these men with bread here in a desert place?
His disciples replied, "Where in this desolate place could anyone find enough bread to feed all these people?"
The disciples said, "This place is like a desert. Where can we find enough food to feed such a crowd?"
And his disciples answered him, Whence shall one be able to fill these men with bread here in a desert place?
And his disciples said in answer, How will it be possible to get enough bread for these men here in a waste place?
His talmidim said to him, "How can anyone find enough bread to satisfy these people in a remote place like this?"
And his disciples answered him, Whence shall one be able to satisfy these with bread here in a desert place?
His disciples say to him, Whence can any one here in the wilderness satisfy with bread all these?
His disciples say to him: Whence can one, here in the desert, satisfy all these with bread?
And his disciples answered him, From whence can a man satisfie these men with bread here in the wildernes?

His followers said to Him, "Where can anyone get enough bread for them here in this desert?"
His disciples replied, "How can one feed these people with bread here in the desert?"
His disciples said to him, How can any man here in this lonely place, feed all of these with bread?
And his disciples answered him - Whence shall any one be able, here, to fill, these, with bread, in a desert?
And his disciples answered him: From whence can any one fill them here with bread in the wilderness?
And his disciples answered him, "How can one feed these men with bread here in the desert?"

A few of his cowboys asked, "Where could we find enough tortillas in this desolate country to feed everyone?"

And his disciples answered him,.... The Syriac version renders it, "say unto him"; and the Persic and Ethiopic, "said unto him"; forgetting the late miracle of feeding five thousand with five loaves and two fishes, when they had now a less number, and more provisions:
from whence can a man satisfy these men with bread here in the wilderness? from what place, and by what ways and means can it be thought, that such a quantity of bread can be got at any rate in a desert, as to satisfy so large a number of hungry men?
