If they blow but one, then the princes, the heads of the thousands of Yisra'el, shall gather themselves to you.
And if they blow but with one trumpet, then the princes, which are heads of the thousands of Israel, shall gather themselves unto thee.
But if they blow only one, the leaders, the heads of the thousands of Israel, will assemble to you.
If you blow only one trumpet, the leaders, the heads of the family groups of Israel, should meet before you.

But if they blow only one, then the chiefs, the heads of the tribes of Israel, shall gather themselves to you.

But when only one trumpet is sounded, then only the leaders of the clans are to gather around you.

"When a bugle gives a single, short blast, that's the signal for the leaders, the heads of the clans, to assemble. When it gives a long blast, that's the signal to march. At the first blast the tribes who were camped on the east set out. At the second blast the camps on the south set out. The long blasts are the signals to march. The bugle call that gathers the assembly is different from the signal to march.

The ships from Tarshish carried the things you sold. "‘Tyre, you are like one of those cargo ships. You are on the sea, loaded with many riches.
Ships from Cyprus will come and fight against the northern king. He will see those ships coming and be afraid. Then he will turn back and take out his anger on the holy agreement. He will turn back and help those who stopped following the holy agreement.

And if they blow [but] with one [trumpet],.... With only one of them, or but once, with one sounding, and that an even one as before:
then the princes, [which are] the heads of the thousands of Israel,
shall gather themselves unto thee: and they only or alone, as Aben Ezra: by this token, or by this difference of blowing both trumpets, or only one, it was, easily known when the whole congregation or when the princes only were to meet Moses at the same place, the door of the tabernacle of the congregation; and all are to attend divine service, and the ministry of the word, even the whole church of God, and all the members of it, high and low, rich and poor, princes and people.
