Say to it, ‘This is what the Lord God says:
and tell it, Thus says the Lord GOD: Behold, I am against you, Mount Se`ir, and I will stretch out my hand against you, and I will make you a desolation and an astonishment.
And say unto it, Thus saith the Lord God ; Behold, O mount Seir, I am against thee, and I will stretch out mine hand against thee, and I will make thee most desolate.
and say to it, Thus says the Lord God : Behold, I am against you, Mount Seir, and I will stretch out my hand against you, and I will make you a desolation and a waste.
and say to it, 'This is what the Lord GOD says: "Behold, I am against you, Mount Seir, And I will reach out with My hand against you And make you a desolation and a waste.
Say to it: ‘This is what the Lord God says: I am against you, Edom. I will stretch out my hand against you and make you an empty desert.
and say to it, 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "Behold, Mount Seir, I am against you, And I will stretch out My hand against you And make you completely desolate.
And say vnto it, Thus sayth the Lord God, Behold, O mount Seir, I come against thee, and I wil stretch out mine hand against thee, and I will make thee desolate and waste.
and say to it, 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "Behold, I am against you, Mount Seir, And I will stretch out My hand against you And make you a desolation and a waste.
and say to it, ‘Thus says Lord Yahweh,"Behold, I am against you, Mount Seir,And I will stretch out My hand against youAnd make you a desolation and a desecration.
and declare that this is what the Lord GOD says: 'Behold, I am against you, O Mount Seir. I will stretch out My hand against you and make you a desolate waste.
and say to them: I, the Lord God, am now your enemy! And I will turn your nation into an empty wasteland,
and say that Adonai Elohim says, ‘I am against you, Mount Se‘ir. I will stretch out my hand against you and make you utterly desolate.
and say unto it, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against thee, mount Seir, and I will stretch out my hand upon thee, and I will make thee a desolation and an astonishment.
And say to it, Thus says the LORD God: Behold, I am against you, O mount Seir, and I will stretch out my hand against you, and I will make you desolate and waste.
Tell the people what I, the Sovereign Lord , am saying: "I am your enemy, mountains of Edom! I will make you a desolate wasteland.
and you must say to it, ‘Thus says the Lord Yahweh: "Look! I am against you, mountain of Seir, and I will stretch out my hand against you, and I will make you a desolation and a wasteland.
And say to it, So says the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against you, Mount Seir, and I will stretch My hand against you, and I will make you a ruin and a waste.
& saye vnto it: Thus saieth the LORDE God: Beholde, (o thou mount Seir) I will vpon the, I will reach out myne hode ouer the, yee waist & desolate wil I make the.
and say unto it, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against thee, O mount Seir, and I will stretch out my hand against thee, and I will make thee a desolation and an astonishment.
And say to it, This is what the Lord has said: See, I am against you, O Mount Seir, and my hand will be stretched out against you, and I will make you a waste and a cause for wonder.
and say unto it: Thus saith the Lord GOD: Behold, I am against thee, O mount Seir, and I will stretch out My hand against thee, and I will make thee most desolate.
And say vnto it, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, O mount Seir, I am against thee, and I will stretch out mine hand against thee, and I will make thee most desolate.
And say vnto it, thus saith the Lorde God: Beholde O thou mount Seir, I wyll vpon thee, I wyll reache out my hande ouer thee, yea waste and desolate wyll I make thee,
and say to it,

and tell it, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I am against you, Mount Seir, and I will stretch out my hand against you, and I will make you a desolation and an astonishment.
The Lord God seith these thingis, Thou hil of Seir, lo! Y to thee; Y schal stretche forth myn hond on thee, and Y schal yyue thee desolat and forsakun.
and say to it, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Look, I am against you, O mount Seir, and I will stretch out my hand against you, and I will make you a desolation and an astonishment.
And say to it, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O mount Seir, I [am] against thee, and I will stretch out my hand against thee, and I will make thee most desolate.
Say to it, ‘This is what the sovereign Lord says: "‘Look, I am against you, Mount Seir; I will stretch out my hand against you and turn you into a desolate ruin.
and say to it, "Thus says the Lord GOD: "Behold, O Mount Seir, I am against you; I will stretch out My hand against you, And make you most desolate;
Give them this message from the Sovereign Lord : "I am your enemy, O Mount Seir, and I will raise my fist against you to destroy you completely.
saying, ‘The Lord God says, "I am against you, Mount Seir. I will put out My hand against you and make you a waste land.
and say to it, Thus says the Lord God : I am against you, Mount Seir; I stretch out my hand against you to make you a desolation and a waste.
and thou shalt say to it Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, Behold me! against thee Mount Seir, - Therefore will I stretch out my hand against thee, And will make thee a desolation and an astonishment:
Thus saith the Lord God: Behold I come against thee, mount Seir, and I will stretch forth my hand upon thee, and I will make thee desolate and waste.
and say to it, Thus says the Lord GOD: Behold, I am against you, Mount Se'ir, and I will stretch out my hand against you, and I will make you a desolation and a waste.
and thou hast said to it: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Lo, I [am] against thee, O mount Seir, And have stretched out My hand against thee, And made thee a desolation and an astonishment.

The Lord said to Jacob, "Go back to your own land where your ancestors lived. I will be with you."
But the God of my ancestors, the God of Abraham and the Fear of Isaac, was with me. If God had not been with me, you would have sent me away with nothing. But he saw the trouble that I had and the work that I did, and last night God proved that I am right."
Jacob was very frightened and worried. He divided the people who were with him and all the flocks, herds, and camels into two groups.
Jacob was left alone, and a man came and wrestled with him. The man fought with him until the sun came up.
God said to Jacob, "Go to the town of Bethel. That is where I appeared to you when you were running away from your brother Esau. Live there and make an altar to honor me as El, the God who appeared to you."
So Jacob told his family and all the other people with him, "Destroy all these foreign gods that you have. Make yourselves pure. Put on clean clothes.
Then Jacob and his sons left that place. The people in the surrounding cities wanted to follow and kill them, but God filled them with such great fear that they did not go after them.
I gave Abraham and Isaac some special land. Now I give the land to you and to all your people who will live after you."

And say unto it, thus saith the Lord God,.... The prophet was not upon the spot, and could not direct his speech immediately to the Edomites; but he might send this prophecy to their ambassadors at Babylon; or in a letter to them in their own land, in the name of the Lord:
behold, O Mount Seir, I am against thee: not the face of the prophet only, but the face of God himself was against them; and a terrible thing it is for any to have God to be against them, whether a nation, or a particular person. The Targum is,
"behold, I send my fury upon thee:''
and I will stretch out mine hand against thee; which was able to reach them wherever they were: and which, being stretched out, cannot be turned back; and, where it lights, falls heavy indeed; namely, his mighty hand of power and wrath. The Targum is,
"and I will lift up the stroke of my power upon thee;''
that is, lift up his hand and strike powerfully; the consequence of which must be as follows:
and I will make thee most desolate; their land, cities, towns, and villages, all should be utterly laid waste; see Revelation 17:16, so it follows:
