So this is what the Lord God says: "I am the one making this promise! I swear that the nations around you will have to suffer for those insults.
Therefore, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I have taken a solemn oath that those nations will soon have their own shame to endure.
"Therefore the Lord GOD says this: 'I have sworn that the nations that are around you will certainly endure their insults themselves.
So this is what the Lord God says: I promise that the nations around you will also have to suffer insults.
So this is what the sovereign Lord says: I vow that the nations around you will endure insults as well.
therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: I have sworn, [saying], Surely the nations that are round about you, they shall bear their shame.
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I have lifted up my hand, Surely the heathen that [are] about you, they shall bear their shame.
"Therefore thus says the Lord GOD, 'I have lifted up My hand and sworn [an oath] that the nations that are around you will themselves endure their [shameful] insults.
Therefore thus says the Lord God : I swear that the nations that are all around you shall themselves suffer reproach.
therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: I have sworn, [saying], Surely the nations that are round about you, they shall bear their shame.
therfor the Lord God seith these thingis, Lo! Y reiside myn hond ayens hethene men, that ben in youre cumpas, that thei bere her schenschipe.
therefore thus saith the Lord GOD: I have lifted up mine hand, saying, Surely the heathen that are round about you, they shall bear their shame.
Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: 'I have sworn with an uplifted hand that surely the nations all around you will endure reproach of their own.
so I will now insult and disgrace them. That is my solemn promise.
therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I have sworn, saying, Surely the nations that are round about you, they shall bear their shame.
For this cause the Lord has said, See, I have taken an oath that the nations which are round about you are themselves to undergo the shame which they have put on you.
Therefore thus says Adonai Elohim : "I have raised my hand and sworn that the nations surrounding you will bear their shame.

I, the Sovereign Lord , solemnly promise that the surrounding nations will be humiliated.

Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah: I -- I have lifted up My hand, Do not -- the nations who [are] with you from round about -- they their own shame bear?
therfore thus saieth the LORDE God: I haue sworne, that the Gentiles which lye aboute you, shal beare youre confucion them selues.
Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: "I have raised My hand in an oath that surely the nations that are around you shall bear their own shame.
"Therefore thus says the Lord GOD, 'I have sworn that surely the nations which are around you will themselves endure their insults.
Therefore thus says Lord Yahweh, ‘I have sworn that surely the nations which are around you will themselves bear their dishonor.

Therefore thus saith the Lord God,.... This being the case, the people of God being in distress, and under shame and disgrace, and the enemy insulting them, and triumphing over them:
I have lifted up mine hand; solemnly swore; lifting up of the hand being a rite used by men when they swore, Genesis 14:22:
surely the Heathen that are about you, they shall bear their shame; the punishment of their shame; that which is justly due to them for reproaching and putting to shame the people of God: or they shall be a laughing stock to others, and be reproached and derided themselves, and so be paid in their own coin; a just retaliation this for their treatment of the Jews.
