“‘Therefore, this is what the Lord God says:
Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: Woe to the bloody city! I also will make the pile great.
Therefore thus saith the Lord God ; Woe to the bloody city! I will even make the pile for fire great.
Therefore thus says the Lord God : Woe to the bloody city! I also will make the pile great.
'Therefore, this is what the Lord GOD says: "Woe to the bloody city! I also will make the wood pile great.
"‘So this is what the Lord God says: How terrible it will be for the city of murderers! I myself will pile the wood high for burning.
'Therefore, thus says the Lord GOD, "Woe to the bloody city! I will also make the pile [of wood] high.
Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: Woe to the bloody city! I also will make the pile great.
Therefore thus saith ye Lord God, Woe to the bloody citie, for I will make ye burning great.
'Therefore, thus says the Lord GOD, "Woe to the bloody city! I also will make the pile great.
Therefore, thus says Lord Yahweh,"Woe to the city of blood!I also will make the pile great.
Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: 'Woe to the city of bloodshed! I, too, will pile the kindling high.
I, the Lord God, will punish that city of violence! I will make a huge pile of firewood,
"Therefore Adonai Elohim says this: ‘Woe to the city drenched with blood! I myself will make a huge bonfire,
Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Woe to the bloody city! I also will make the pile great.
"‘So this is what the Lord God says: It will be bad for that city of murderers! I will pile up plenty of wood for the fire.
Therefore, thus says the LORD God: Woe to the bloody city! I will even enlarge the fireplace and increase the fuel,
This is what the Sovereign Lord is saying: "The city of murderers is doomed! I myself will pile up the firewood.
Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: "Woe to the city of bloodguilt! I, even I, will make the pile of wood great!
So the Lord Jehovah says this: Woe to the bloody city! I also shall make great the pile,
Wherfore, thus saieth ye LORDE God: O, wo be vnto that bloudthurstie cite, for who I wil prepare a heape off wodde:
Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Woe to the bloody city! I also will make the pile great.
For this cause the Lord has said: A curse is on the town of blood! and I will make great the burning mass.
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD: Woe to the bloody city! I also will make the pile great,
Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Woe to the bloody citie, I will euen make the pile for fire, great.
Therefore thus saith the Lord, I will also make the firebrand great,
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD: Woe to the bloody city! I also will make the pile great.
Therfor the Lord God seith these thingis, Wo to the citee of bloodis, whos brennyng Y schal make greet;
Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: Woe to the bloody city! I also will make the pile great.
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the bloody city! I will even make the pile for fire great.
"‘Therefore this is what the sovereign Lord says: Woe to the city of bloodshed! I will also make the pile high.
"Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: "Woe to the bloody city! I too will make the pyre great.
"This is what the Sovereign Lord says: What sorrow awaits Jerusalem, the city of murderers! I myself will pile up the fuel beneath her.
So the Lord God says, "It is bad for the city of blood! I will put much wood on the fire.
Therefore thus says the Lord God : Woe to the bloody city! I will even make the pile great.
Wherefore Thus, saith My Lord Yahweh, Woe! city of bloodshed, - Even I myself, will make large the pe.
Therefore thus saith the Lord God: Woe to the bloody city, of which I will make a great bonfire.
Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: Woe to the bloody city! I also will make the pile great.
Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah: Wo [to] the city of blood, yea, I -- I make great the pile.
"‘Therefore, this is what God , the Master, says: "‘Doom to the city of murder! I, too, will pile on the wood. Stack the wood high, light the match, Cook the meat, spice it well, pour out the broth, and then burn the bones. Then I'll set the empty pot on the coals and heat it red-hot so the bronze glows, So the germs are killed and the corruption is burned off. But it's hopeless. It's too far gone. The filth is too thick.

Therefore thus saith the Lord God, woe to the bloody city,....

I will even make the pile for fire great; a large pile of wood, a great quantity of fuel to maintain the fire, and keep the pot boiling; meaning the vast army of the Chaldeans, which the Lord would bring against Jerusalem, which should closely besiege it, and vigorously attack it, until it had executed the fury of the wrath of God, comparable to fire, and of his judgments upon it. The Targum is,
"even I will multiply her destruction.''
