Read the Bible

The LORD, the Psalmist's Shepherd.

¹ The LORD is my ^(C1)Shepherd to feed, to guide and to shield me, ^(VR1)
I shall ^(C2)not want.

² He lets me lie down in ^(C1)green pastures;
He ^(C2)leads me beside the ^(C3)still and quiet waters. ^(VR1)

³ He ^(C1)refreshes and restores my soul (life);
He ^(C2)leads me in the ^(C3)paths of righteousness
for His name's sake.

⁴ Even though I ^(C1)walk through the sunless ^(F1)valley of the shadow of death,
I ^(C2)fear no evil, for ^(C3)You are with me;
Your ^(C4)rod to protect and Your staff to guide, they comfort and console me.

⁵ You ^(C1)prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
You have ^(C2)anointed and refreshed my head with ^(F1)oil;
My ^(C3)cup overflows.

⁶ Surely ^(C1)goodness and mercy and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life,
And I shall ^(C2)dwell forever throughout all my days in the house and in the presence of the LORD.
