The Whole Creation Invoked to Praise the LORD.

¹ Praise the LORD!
Praise the LORD ^(C1)from the heavens;
Praise Him ^(C2)in the heights!

² Praise Him, ^(C1)all His angels;
Praise Him, ^(C2)all His hosts (armies)!

³ Praise Him, sun and moon:
Praise Him, all stars of light!

⁴ Praise Him, ^(C1)highest heavens,
And the ^(C2)waters above the heavens!

⁵ Let them praise the name of the LORD,
For ^(C1)He commanded and they were created.

⁶ He has also ^(C1)established them forever and ever;
He has made a ^(C2)decree which shall not pass away.

⁷ Praise the LORD from the earth,
^(C1)Sea monsters and all ^(C2)deeps;

^8 (C1)Lightning and hail, ^(C2)snow and ^(C3)fog;
^(C4)Stormy wind, ^(C5)fulfilling His orders;

^9 (C1)Mountains and all hills;
Fruitful ^(C2)trees and all cedars;

^10 (C1)Beasts and all cattle;
^(C2)Creeping things and winged birds;

^11 (C1)Kings of the earth and all people;
Princes and all judges of the earth;

¹² Both young men and virgins;
Old men and children.

¹³ Let them praise the name of the LORD,
For His ^(C1)name alone is exalted and supreme;
His ^(C2)glory and majesty are above earth and heaven.

¹⁴ He has ^(C1)lifted up a horn for His people giving them strength, prosperity, dignity, and preeminence,
^(C2)Praise for all His godly ones;
For the people of Israel, a people ^(C3)near to Him.
