Prayer for Rescue and Prosperity.

¹ Blessed be the LORD, ^(C1)my Rock and my great strength,
Who ^(C2)trains my hands for war
And my fingers for battle;

² My steadfast lovingkindness and ^(C1)my fortress,
My ^(C2)high tower and my rescuer,
My ^(C3)shield and He in whom I take refuge,
Who ^(C4)subdues my people under me.

³ LORD, ^(C1)what is man that You take notice of him?
Or the son of man that You think of him? ^(VR1)

^4 (C1)Man is like a mere breath;
His ^(C2)days are like a shadow that passes away.

^5 (C1)Bow Your heavens, O LORD, and ^(C2)come down;
^(C3)Touch the mountains, and they will smoke.

⁶ Flash ^(C1)lightning and scatter my enemies;
Send out Your ^(C2)arrows and confuse and embarrass and frustrate them.

⁷ Stretch out Your hand ^(C1)from above;
Set me free and ^(C2)rescue me from great waters,
Out of the hands of hostile ^(C3)foreigners who surround us

⁸ Whose mouths ^(C1)speak deceit without restraint,
And whose right hand is a ^(C2)right hand of falsehood.

⁹ I will sing a ^(C1)new song to You, O God;
Upon a ^(C2)harp of ten strings I will sing praises to You,

¹⁰ Who ^(C1)gives salvation to kings,
Who ^(C2)sets David His servant free from the evil sword.

¹¹ Set me free and rescue me from the hand of hostile ^(C1)foreigners,
Whose mouth ^(C2)speaks deceit without restraint,
And whose ^(C3)right hand is a right hand of falsehood.

¹² Let our sons in their youth be like ^(C1)plants full grown,
And our daughters like ^(C2)corner pillars fashioned for a palace;

¹³ Let our ^(C1)barns be full, supplying every kind of produce,
And our flocks bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our fields;

¹⁴ Let our ^(C1)cattle bear
Without ^(C2)mishap and without ^(C3)loss,
And let there be no ^(C4)outcry in our streets!

¹⁵ How blessed and favored are the people in such circumstance;
How ^(C1)blessed fortunate, prosperous, and favored are the people whose God is the LORD!
