Read the Bible

The LORD the Keeper of Israel.

¹ I will ^(C1)lift up my eyes to ^(C2)the hills of Jerusalem—
From where shall my help come? ^(VR1)

² My ^(C1)help comes from the LORD,
Who ^(C2)made heaven and earth.

³ He will not ^(C1)allow your foot to slip;
He who ^(C2)keeps you will not slumber. ^(VR1)

⁴ Behold, He who keeps Israel
Will neither slumber briefly nor sleep soundly.

⁵ The LORD is your ^(C1)keeper;
The LORD is your ^(C2)shade on your right hand. ^(VR1)

⁶ The ^(C1)sun will not strike you by day,
Nor the moon by night. ^(VR1)

⁷ The LORD will ^(C1)protect you from all evil;
He will keep your life.

⁸ The LORD will ^(C1)guard your going out and your coming in everything that you do
^(C2)From this time forth and forever. ^(VR1)
