as they were going down the mountain, he order'd them not to tell any body what they had seen, till the son of man was raised from the dead:
Coming down the mountain, Jesus swore them to secrecy. "Don't tell a soul what you saw. After the Son of Man rises from the dead, you're free to talk." They puzzled over that, wondering what on earth "rising from the dead" meant.
As they rode back down, Jesus told 'em not to tell anyone about what they'd seen until he'd been killed and had come back from the dead.
