Jehu Anointed as Israel’s King
1 The prophet Elisha called one of the sons of the prophets(C1) and said, “Tuck your mantle(C2) under your belt, take this flask of oil(C3) with you, and go to Ramoth-gilead.(C4)
1 Elisha the prophet called one of the sons of the prophets, and said to him, Gird up your loins, and take this vial of oil in your hand, and go to Ramot-Gil`ad.
1 And Elisha the prophet called one of the children of the prophets, and said unto him, Gird up thy loins, and take this box of oil in thine hand, and go to Ramothgilead:
Jehu Anointed King of Israel
1 Then Elisha the prophet called one of (a)the sons of the prophets and said to him, (b)"Tie up your garments, and take this (c)flask of oil in your hand, and go to (d)Ramoth-gilead.
Jehu Is Chosen King
1 At the same time, Elisha the prophet called a man from the groups of prophets. Elisha said, "Get ready, and take this small bottle of olive oil in your hand. Go to Ramoth in Gilead.
Jehu Becomes King
1 Now Elisha the prophet summoned a member of the prophetic guild and told him, "Tuck your robes into your belt, take this container of olive oil in your hand, and go to Ramoth Gilead.
Jehu Reigns over Israel
1 Now Elisha the prophet called one of (C1)the sons of the prophets and said to him, "(F1)(C2)Gird up your loins (prepare for action), (C3)take this flask of oil in your hand and go to (C4)Ramoth-gilead.

1 Now Elisha the prophet summoned one of (C1)the sons of the prophets and said to him, "(F1)(C2)Get ready and (C3)take this flask of oil in your hand, and go to (C4)Ramoth-gilead.
1 Then Elisha the Prophet called one of ye children of the Prophets, and sayde vnto him, Gird thy loynes and take this boxe of oyle in thine hand and get thee to Ramoth Gilead.
Jehu Anointed King over Israel
1 Now Elisha the prophet called one of (C1)the sons of the prophets and said to him, "(C2)Gird up your loins, and (C3)take this flask of oil in your hand and go to (C4)Ramoth-gilead.
Jehu Becomes King of Israel
1 One day, Elisha called for one of the other prophets and said:
Take this bottle of olive oil and get ready to go to the town of Ramoth in Gilead.
1 Elisha the prophet summoned one of the guild prophets and said to him, "Prepare for traveling, take this flask of oil in your hand and go to Ramot-Gil‘ad.
1 And Elisha the prophet called one of the sons of the prophets, and said to him, Gird up thy loins, and take this vial of oil in thy hand, and go to Ramoth-Gilead.
Elisha Tells a Prophet to Anoint Jehu
1 Elisha the prophet called one of the men from the group of prophets[a] and said to him, "Get ready and take this small bottle of oil in your hand. Go to Ramoth Gilead.
1 THEN Elisha the prophet called one of the sons of the prophets and said to him, Gird up your loins and take this flask of oil in your hand and go to Ramath-gilead;

1 Eliseus the prophet called one of the prophetes childre, & sayde vnto him: Girde vp yi loynes, and take this cruse of oyle with the, and go vnto Ramoth in Gilead:

1 And Elisha the prophet sent for one of the sons of the prophets, and said to him, Make yourself ready for a journey, and take this bottle of oil in your hand, and go to Ramoth-gilead.
1 And Elisa the prophete called one of the childre of the prophetes, and sayd vnto him: Gyrde vp thy loynes, and take this boxe of oyle in thyne hand, & get thee to Ramoth [in] Gilead.

1 Now Elisha the prophet summoned one of the sons of the prophets and said to him, “Tuck your cloak under your belt, take this flask of oil, and go to Ramoth-gilead.
1 Forsothe Elisee, the prophete, clepide oon of the sones of prophetis, and seide to hym, Girde thi leendis, and take this vessel of oile in thin hond, and go in to Ramoth of Galaad.

1 Meanwhile, Elisha the prophet had summoned a member of the group of prophets. "Get ready to travel,"[a] he told him, "and take this flask of olive oil with you. Go to Ramoth-gilead,
Jehu Is Chosen to Be King of Israel
1 Now Elisha the man of God called one of the sons of those who spoke for God. He said to him, "Get ready to travel. Take this jar of oil and go to Ramoth-gilead.
Anointing of Jehu
1 Then the prophet Elisha called a member of the company of prophets[a] and said to him, "Gird up your loins; take this flask of oil in your hand, and go to Ramoth-gilead.
1 Now, Elisha the prophet, called one of the sons of the prophets, - and said to him - Gird up thy loins, and take this flask of oil in thy hand, and go to Ramoth-gilead;
1 And Eliseus the prophet, called one of the sons of the prophets, and said to him: Gird up thy loins, and take this little bottle of oil in thy hand, and go to Ramoth Galaad.
1 Then Eli'sha the prophet called one of the sons of the prophets and said to him, "Gird up your loins, and take this flask of oil in your hand, and go to Ramoth-gilead.
1 And Elisha the prophet has called to one of the sons of the prophets and says to him, "Gird up your loins, and take this vial of oil in your hand, and go to Ramoth-Gilead,1-3 One day Elisha the prophet ordered a member of the guild of prophets, "Get yourself ready, take a flask of oil, and go to Ramoth Gilead. Look for Jehu son of Jehoshaphat son of Nimshi. When you find him, get him away from his companions and take him to a back room. Take your flask of oil and pour it over his head and say, ‘God's word: I anoint you king over Israel.' Then open the door and get out of there as fast as you can. Don't wait around."
Jehu Reigns over Israel
1 Now Elisha the prophet called one of (C1)the sons of the prophets and said to him, "(C2)Gird up your loins, and (C3)take this flask of oil in your hand and go to (C4)Ramoth-gilead.2 When you get there, look for Jehu(C1) son of Jehoshaphat, son of Nimshi. Go in, get him away from his colleagues, and take him to an inner room. 2 When you come there, look out there Yehu the son of Yehoshafat the son of Nimshi, and go in, and make him arise up from among his brothers, and carry him to an inner chamber.
2 And when thou comest thither, look out there Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi, and go in, and make him arise up from among his brethren, and carry him to an inner chamber; 2 And when you arrive, look there for Jehu (e)the son of Jehoshaphat, son of Nimshi. And go in and have him rise from among (f)his fellows, and lead him to an inner chamber. 2 When you arrive, find Jehu son of Jehoshaphat, the son of Nimshi. Go in and make Jehu get up from among his brothers, and take him to an inner room. 2 When you arrive there, look for Jehu son of Jehoshaphat son of Nimshi and take him aside into an inner room. 2 "When you arrive there, look for (C1)Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi, and go in and (C2)have him arise from among his brothers, and take him into an inner room.2 "When you arrive there, then look there for (C1)Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi, and go in and (C2)have him get up from among his brothers, and bring him to an inner room.2 And when thou commest thither, looke where is Iehu ye sonne of Iehoshaphat, the sonne of Nimshi, and go, and make him arise vp from among his brethren, and leade him to a secret chamber.2 "And you will come there and look there for (C1)Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi. And you will come in and (F1)(C2)bid him arise from among his brothers. And you will cause him to come in to an inner room. 2 When you get there, find Jehu son of Jehoshaphat and grandson of Nimshi. Take him to a place where the two of you can be alone, 2 When you get there, look for Yehu the son of Y'hoshafat, the son of Nimshi. Enter, have him step away from his companions, and take him to an inside room.
2 And when thou art come thither, look out there Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat, son of Nimshi, and go in, and make him rise up from among his brethren, and bring him to an inner chamber; 2 When you arrive, find Jehu son of Jehoshaphat, the son of Nimshi. Then go in and make him get up from among his brothers. Take him to an inner room.2 And when you get there, look for Jehu the son of Jimshi, and go in and make him arise up from among his brethren, and bring him into an inner chamber; 2 and when you get there look for Jehu, the son of Jehoshaphat and grandson of Nimshi. Take him to a private room away from his companions, 2 Go there and look there for Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi. Go, for you must cause him to arise from among his brothers, and you must bring him into an inner room.[a] 2 And you shall go there, and you shall see there Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat, the son of Nimshi. And you shall go in and cause him to rise up from among his brothers. And you shall bring him to an inner room.2 and wha thou comest thither, thou shalt se there one Iehu, ye sonne of Iosaphat the sonne of Nimsi, and go in, and byd him stonde vp amonge his brethren, and brynge him in to the ynmost chamber, 2 And when thou comest thither, look out there Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi, and go in, and make him arise up from among his brethren, and carry him to an inner chamber. 2 And when you get there, go in search of Jehu, the son of Jehoshaphat, the son of Nimshi; and go in and make him get up from among his brothers, and take him to an inner room.2 And when thou commest thyther, loke wher is Iehu the sonne of Iehosaphat the sonne of Nimsi, and go to him, and make him arise vp from among his brethren, & cary him to a secrete chamber.2 And when thou comest thither, look out there Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi, and go in, and make him arise up from among his brethren, and carry him to an inner chamber.2 And when thou commest thither, looke out there Iehu the sonne of Iehoshaphat, the sonne of Nimshi, and goe in, and make him arise vp from among his brethren, and carie him to an inner chamber. 2 And thou shalt enter there, and shalt see there Ju the son of Josaphat son of Namessi, and shalt go in and make him rise up from among his brethren, and shalt bring him into a secret chamber. 2 And when thou comest thither, look out there Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi, and go in, and make him arise up from among his brethren, and carry him to an inner chamber. 2 When you arrive, look for Jehu son of Jehoshaphat, the son of Nimshi. Go in, get him away from his companions, and take him to an inner room.2 And whanne thou schalt come thidur, thou schalt se Hieu, sone of Josephat, sone of Namsi; and thou schalt entre, and schalt reise hym fro the myddis of hise britheren, and thou schalt lede hym in to the ynnere closet.2 and thou hast gone in there, and see thou there Jehu son of Jehoshaphat, son of Nimshi, and thou hast gone in, and caused him to rise out of the midst of his brethren, and brought him in to the inner part of an inner-chamber,2 And when you come there, look there for Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi, and go in, and make him arise up from among his brothers, and carry him to an inner chamber.2 And when thou comest thither, look out there Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat, the son of Nimshi, and go in, and make him arise up from among his brethren, and carry him to an inner chamber;2 When you come there, look out there Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi, and go in, and make him arise up from among his brothers, and carry him to an inner chamber. 2 Now when you arrive at that place, look there for Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat, the son of Nimshi, and go in and make him rise up from among his associates, and take him to an inner room. 2 and find Jehu son of Jehoshaphat, son of Nimshi. Call him into a private room away from his friends, 2 When you get there, find Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat son of Nimshi. Go in and have him come away from his brothers. Bring him into a room in the house. 2 When you arrive, look there for Jehu son of Jehoshaphat, son of Nimshi; go in and get him to leave his companions, and take him into an inner chamber. 2 and, when thou art come in thither, then look thee out, there, Jehu son of Jehoshaphat, son of Nimshi; and thou shalt enter and get him to rise up out of the midst of his brethren, and take him into an inner chamber; 2 And when thou art come thither, thou shalt see Jehu the son of Josaphat the son of Namsi: and going in, thou shalt make him rise up from amongst his brethren, and carry him into an inner chamber.2 And when you arrive, look there for Jehu the son of Jehosh'aphat, son of Nimshi; and go in and bid him rise from among his fellows, and lead him to an inner chamber.2 and you have gone in there, and see Jehu son of Jehoshaphat, son of Nimshi, there, and you have gone in, and caused him to rise out of the midst of his brothers, and brought him into the inner part of an inner-chamber,2 "When you arrive there, (F1)search out (C1)Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi, and go in and (F2)(C2)bid him arise from among his brothers, and bring him to an inner room.3 Then take the flask of oil, pour it on his head, and say, ‘This is what the Lord says: “I anoint you king over Israel.”’(C1) Open the door and escape. Don’t wait.” 3 Then take the vial of oil, and pour it on his head, and say, Thus says the LORD, I have anointed you king over Yisra'el. Then open the door, and flee, and don't wait.
3 Then take the box of oil, and pour it on his head, and say, Thus saith the Lord, I have anointed thee king over Israel. Then open the door, and flee, and tarry not. 3 Then take the flask of oil and pour it on his head and say, ‘Thus says the Lord, (g)I anoint you king over Israel.' Then open the door and flee; do not linger." 3 Then take the bottle and pour the oil on Jehu's head and say, ‘This is what the Lord says: I have appointed you king over Israel.' Then open the door and run away. Don't wait!" 3 Take the container of olive oil, pour it over his head, and say, ‘This is what the Lord says, "I have designated you as king over Israel."' Then open the door and run away quickly!"3 "Then take the flask of oil and pour it on his head and say, 'Thus says the LORD: "(C1)I have anointed you king over Israel."' Then open the door and flee and do not delay."
3 "Then take the flask of oil and pour it on his head, and say, 'This is what the LORD says: "(C1)I have anointed you king over Israel."' Then open the door and flee, and do not wait."3 Then take the boxe of oyle and powre it on his head, and say, Thus sayth the Lorde, I haue anointed thee for King ouer Israel. then open the doore, and flee without any tarying.3 "Then you will take the flask of oil and pour it on his head and say, 'Thus says Yahweh, "(C1)I have anointed you king over Israel."' Then open the door and flee and do not wait." 3 then pour olive oil on his head to show that he is the new king. Say to him, "The Lord has chosen you to be king of Israel." Then leave quickly—don't wait around for anything! 3 Then take the flask of oil, pour it on his head, and say, ‘This is what Adonai says: "I have anointed you king over Isra'el."' After that, open the door; and get away from there as fast as you can."3 then take the vial of oil, and pour it on his head and say, Thus saith Jehovah: I have anointed thee king over Israel; and open the door, and flee, and tarry not. 3 Take the small bottle of oil and pour the oil on Jehu's head. Say, ‘This is what the Lord says: I have anointed you to be the new king over Israel.' Then open the door and run away. Don't wait!"3 Then take the flask of oil and pour it on his head, and say to him, Thus says the LORD, I have anointed you king over my people Israel. Then open the door and flee, and do not tarry. 3 pour this olive oil on his head, and say, ‘The Lord proclaims that he anoints you king of Israel.' Then leave there as fast as you can." 3 You must take the flask of olive oil and pour it out on his head. You must say, ‘Thus says Yahweh, "I hereby anoint you as king over Israel."' Then you must open the door and flee; do not linger!"3 And take the vial of oil and pour on his head, and say, So says Jehovah, I have anointed you as king to Israel. And you shall open the door and flee, and shall not wait.3 & take thou ye cruse of oyle, and poure it vpon his heade, & saye: Thus sayeth the LORDE: I haue anointed the to be kynge ouer Israel: & thou shalt open the dore, and flye, and not tary. 3 Then take the vial of oil, and pour it on his head, and say, Thus saith Jehovah, I have anointed thee king over Israel. Then open the door, and flee, and tarry not. 3 Then take the bottle and put the oil on his head, and say, The Lord says, I have put the holy oil on you to make you king over Israel. Then, opening the door, go in flight, without waiting.3 Then take the boxe of oyle, and powre it on his head, and say, thus saith the Lord, I haue annoynted thee to be king ouer Israel: And then open the doore, and flee, without any tarying.3 Then take the vial of oil, and pour it on his head, and say: Thus saith the LORD: I have anointed thee king over Israel. Then open the door, and flee, and tarry not.'3 Then take the boxe of oile, and powre it on his head, and say, Thus saith the Lord, I haue anointed thee king ouer Israel: then open the doore, and flee, and tary not. 3 And thou shalt take the cruse of oil, and pour it on his head, and say thou, Thus saith the Lord, I have anointed thee king over Israel: and thou shalt open the door, and flee, and not tarry. 3 Then take the vial of oil, and pour it on his head, and say, Thus saith the LORD, I have anointed thee king over Israel. Then open the door, and flee, and tarry not. 3 Then take the flask of oil, pour it on his head, and declare, ‘This is what the LORD says: I anoint you king over Israel.’ Then open the door and run. Do not delay!”3 And thou schalt holde the vessel of oile, and schalt schede on his heed, and schalt seie, The Lord seith these thingis, I haue anoyntid thee in to kyng on Israel; and thou schalt opene the dore, and schalt flee, and schalt not abide there.3 and taken the vial of oil, and poured on his head, and said, Thus said Jehovah, I have anointed thee for king unto Israel; and thou hast opened the door, and fled, and dost not wait.'3 Then take the vial of oil, and pour it on his head, and say, Thus says Yahweh, I have anointed you king over Israel. Then open the door, and flee, and don't tarry.3 Then take the box of oil, and pour [it] on his head, and say, Thus saith the LORD, I have anointed thee king over Israel. Then open the door, and flee, and tarry not.3 Then take the vial of oil, and pour it on his head, and say, Thus says Yahweh, I have anointed you king over Israel. Then open the door, and flee, and don't wait. 3 Then take the flask of oil, and pour it on his head, and say, "Thus says the LORD: "I have anointed you king over Israel."' Then open the door and flee, and do not delay." 3 and pour the oil over his head. Say to him, ‘This is what the Lord says: I anoint you to be the king over Israel.' Then open the door and run for your life!" 3 Then take the jar of oil and pour it on his head and say, ‘The Lord says, "I have chosen you to be the king of Israel."' Then open the door and run. Do not wait." 3 Then take the flask of oil, pour it on his head, and say, ‘Thus says the Lord: I anoint you king over Israel.' Then open the door and flee; do not linger."3 then shalt thou take the flask of oil, and pour out upon his head, and say - Thus, saith Yahweh, I have anointed thee to be king unto Israel! Then shalt thou open the door and flee, and not tarry.3 Then taking the little bottle of oil, thou shalt pour it on his head, and shalt say: Thus saith the Lord: I have anointed thee king over Israel. And thou shalt open the door and flee, and shalt not stay there.3 Then take the flask of oil, and pour it on his head, and say, 'Thus says the LORD, I anoint you king over Israel.' Then open the door and flee; do not tarry."3 and taken the vial of oil, and poured [it] on his head, and said, Thus said YHWH: I have anointed you for king to Israel; and you have opened the door, and fled, and do not wait."3 "Then take the flask of oil and pour it on his head and say, 'Thus says the LORD, "(C1)I have anointed you king over Israel."' Then open the door and flee and do not wait."
4 So the young prophet(F1) went to Ramoth-gilead.4 So the young man, even the young man the prophet, went to Ramot-Gil`ad.4 So the young man, even the young man the prophet, went to Ramothgilead.
4 So the young man, the servant of the prophet, went to Ramoth-gilead.
4 So the young man, the prophet, went to Ramoth in Gilead.
4 So the young prophet went to Ramoth Gilead.

4 So the young man, servant of the prophet, went to Ramoth-Gilead. 4 And the young man went, the servant of the prophet, to Ramoth-gilead.4 And the prophetes yonge man, the childe wente his waye vnto Ramoth in Gilead. 4 So the young man, even the young man the prophet, went to Ramoth-gilead. 4 So the young prophet went to Ramoth-gilead.4 And so the seruaunt of the prophete gat him to Ramoth Gilead:4 So the young man, even the young man the prophet, went to Ramoth-gilead.4 So the yong man, euen the yong man the Prophet, went to Ramoth Gilead: 4 And the young man the prophet went to Remmoth Galaad. 4 So the young man, even the young man the prophet, went to Ramoth–gilead. 4 So the young prophet went to Ramoth-gilead,4 Therfor the yong wexynge man, the child of the prophete, yede in to Ramoth of Galaad, and entride thidur.4 And the young man goeth -- the young man the prophet -- to Ramoth-Gilead,4 So the young man, even the young man the prophet, went to Ramoth-gilead.4 So the young man, [even] the young man the prophet, went to Ramoth-gilead.4 So the young man, even the young man the prophet, went to Ramoth-gilead. 4 So the young man, the servant of the prophet, went to Ramoth Gilead.
4 So the young prophet did as he was told and went to Ramoth-gilead. 4 So the young servant of the man of God went to Ramoth-gilead.
4 So the young man, the young prophet, went to Ramoth-gilead. 4 So the young man went his way - the young man the prophet - unto Ramoth-gilead.4 So the young man, the servant of the prophet, went away to Ramoth Galaad,4 So the young man, the prophet, went to Ramoth-gilead.4 And the young man goes—the young man the prophet—to Ramoth-Gilead,4-5 The young prophet went to Ramoth Gilead. On arrival he found the army officers all sitting around. He said, "I have a matter of business with you, officer."
Jehu said, "Which one of us?"
"With you, officer."
4 So (C1)the young man, the servant of the prophet, went to Ramoth-gilead.
5 When he arrived, the army commanders were sitting there, so he said, “I have a message for you, commander.”
5 When he came, behold, the captains of the host were sitting; and he said, I have an errand to you, captain. Yehu said, To which of us all? He said, To you, O captain.5 And when he came, behold, the captains of the host were sitting; and he said, I have an errand to thee, O captain. And Jehu said, Unto which of all us? And he said, To thee, O captain. 5 And when he came, behold, the commanders of the army were in council. And he said, "I have a word for you, O commander." And Jehu said, "To which of us all?" And he said, "To you, O commander." 5 When he arrived, he saw the officers of the army sitting together. He said, "Commander, I have a message for you."
Jehu asked, "For which one of us?"
The young man said, "For you, commander." 5 When he arrived, the officers of the army were sitting there. So he said, "I have a message for you, O officer." Jehu asked, "For which one of us?" He replied, "For you, O officer." 5 When he arrived, the captains of the army were sitting outside; and he said, "I have a message for you, O captain." Jehu said, "To which one of us?" And he said, "For you, O captain."5 When he arrived, behold, the commanders of the army were sitting, and he said, "I have a word for you, commander." And Jehu said, "(F1)For which one of us?" And he said, "For you, commander."5 And when he came in, behold, the captaines of the armie were sitting. And he sayde, I haue a message to thee, O captaine. And Iehu sayd, Vnto which of all vs? And he answered, To thee, O captaine.5 Then he came, and behold, the commanders of the military were sitting, and he said, "I have a word for you, O commander." And Jehu said, "(F1)For which one of us?" And he said, "For you, O commander." 5 When he arrived, the army officers were meeting together. "Sir, I have a message for you," he said.
"For which one of us?" Jehu asked.
"You, sir," the prophet answered. 5 When he arrived, he found the senior army officers sitting there. He said, "I have a message for you, commander." Yehu asked, "For which one of us?" "For you, commander," he said.
5 And when he came, behold, the captains of the host were sitting. And he said, I have an errand to thee, captain. And Jehu said, To which of all of us? And he said, To thee, captain. 5 When the young man arrived, he saw the captains of the army sitting. He said, "Captain, I have a message for you."
Jehu asked, "Which one of us is the message for?"
The young man said, "For you, sir."5 And when he came in, behold, the commanders of the army were sitting; and he said, I have an errand to you, O commander. And Jehu said, To which of us? And he said to him, To you, O commander. 5 where he found the army officers in a conference. He said, "Sir, I have a message for you."
Jehu asked, "Which one of us are you speaking to?"
"To you, sir," he replied. 5 He came, and look, the commanders of the army were sitting there. He said, "I have a word for you, O commander!" Jehu said, "For whom? For all of us?" And he said, "For you, O commander!" 5 And he came in; and, behold, the army commanders were sitting. And he said, I have a word to you, O commander. And Jehu said, To which of all of us? And he said, To you, O commander.5 And whan he came in, beholde, the captaynes of the hoost sat there, and he sayde: I haue somwhat to saye vnto the O captayne. Iehu saide: Vnto whom amonge vs all? He sayde: Euen vnto the o captayne. 5 And when he came, behold, the captains of the host were sitting; and he said, I have an errand to thee, O captain. And Jehu said, Unto which of us all? And he said, To thee, O captain. 5 And when he came, he saw the captains of the army seated together; and he said, I have something to say to you, O captain. And Jehu said, To which of us? And he said, To you, O captain.5 And when he came in, beholde, the captaynes of the hoast were sitting together: And he sayde, I haue an errand to thee, O captayne.5 And when he came, behold, the captains of the host were sitting; and he said: 'I have an errand to thee, O captain.' And Jehu said: 'Unto which of us all?' And he said: 'To thee, O captain.'5 And when hee came, behold, the captaines of the host were sitting; and hee said, I haue an errand to thee, O captaine: And Iehu said, Unto which of all vs? And he said, To thee, O captaine. 5 And he went in, and, behold, the captains of the host were sitting; and he said, I have a message to thee, O captain. And Ju said, To which of all us? And he said, To thee, O captain. 5 And when he came, behold, the captains of the host were sitting; and he said, I have an errand to thee, O captain. And Jehu said, Unto which of all us? And he said, To thee, O captain. 5 and when he arrived, the army commanders were sitting there. “I have a message for you, commander,” he said. “For which of us?” asked Jehu. “For you, commander,” he replied.5 Lo! sotheli the princes of the oost saten; and he seide, A! prince, Y haue a word to thee. And Hieu seide, To whom of alle vs? And he seide, To thee, thou prince.5 and cometh in, and lo, chiefs of the force are sitting, and he saith, `I have a word unto thee, O chief!' and Jehu saith, `Unto which of all of us?' and he saith, `Unto thee, O chief.'5 And when he came, look, the captains of the host were sitting; and he said, I have a message for you, O captain. And Jehu said, To which of us all? And he said, To you, O captain.5 And when he came, behold, the captains of the host [were] sitting; and he said, I have an errand to thee, O captain. And Jehu said, To which of us all? And he said, To thee, O captain.5 When he came, behold, the captains of the host were sitting; and he said, I have an errand to you, captain. Jehu said, To which of us all? He said, To you, O captain. 5 And when he arrived, there were the captains of the army sitting; and he said, "I have a message for you, Commander." Jehu said, "For which one of us?" And he said, "For you, Commander." 5 When he arrived there, he found Jehu sitting around with the other army officers. "I have a message for you, Commander," he said.
"For which one of us?" Jehu asked.
"For you, Commander," he replied. 5 When he came, he found the captains of the army sitting there. He said, "I have something to tell you, O captain." And Jehu said, "Which one of us?" And he said, "You, O captain." 5 He arrived while the commanders of the army were in council, and he announced, "I have a message for you, commander." "For which one of us?" asked Jehu. "For you, commander." 5 And, when he came up, lo! the captains of the force, sitting, and he said - A word, have I, for thee, O captain! And Jehu said - For which, of us all? And he said, - For thee, O captain!5 And went in thither: and behold, the captains of the army were sitting, and he said: I have a word to thee, O prince. And Jehu said: Unto whom of us all? And he said: To thee, O prince.5 And when he came, behold, the commanders of the army were in council; and he said, "I have an errand to you, O commander." And Jehu said, "To which of us all?" And he said, "To you, O commander."5 and comes in, and behold, chiefs of the force are sitting, and he says, "I have a word for you, O chief!" And Jehu says, "To which of all of us?" And he says, "To you, O chief."5 When he came, behold, the captains of the army were sitting, and he said, "I have a word for you, O captain." And Jehu said, "(F1)For which one of us?" And he said, "For you, O captain."

He answered, “For you, commander.”
6 So Jehu got up and went into the house. The young prophet poured the oil on his head and said, “This is what the Lord God of Israel says: ‘I anoint you king over the Lord’s people, Israel. 6 He arose, and went into the house; and he poured the oil on his head, and said to him, Thus says the LORD, the God of Yisra'el, I have anointed you king over the people of the LORD, even over Yisra'el.
6 And he arose, and went into the house; and he poured the oil on his head, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, I have anointed thee king over the people of the Lord, even over Israel. 6 So he arose and went into the house. And the young man poured the oil on his head, saying to him, "Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel, (h)I anoint you king over the people of the Lord, over Israel.
6 Jehu got up and went into the house. Then the young prophet poured the olive oil on Jehu's head and said to him, "This is what the Lord, the God of Israel says: ‘I have appointed you king over the Lord's people Israel. 6 So Jehu got up and went inside. Then the prophet poured the olive oil on his head and said to him, "This is what the Lord God of Israel says, ‘I have designated you as king over the Lord's people Israel. 6 So Jehu got up, and they went into the house. And he poured the oil on Jehu's head and said to him, "Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel: '(C1)I have anointed you king over the people of the LORD, over Israel.6 He then got up and went into the house, and the prophet's servant poured the oil on his head and said to him, "This is what the LORD, the God of Israel says: '(C1)I have anointed you king over the people of the LORD, over Israel.6 And he arose, and went into the house, and he powred the oyle on his head and sayde vnto him, Thus sayth the Lorde God of Israel, I haue anointed thee for King ouer the people of the Lord, euen ouer Israel.6 And he arose and came into the house, and he poured the oil on his head and said to him, "Thus says Yahweh, the God of Israel, '(C1)I have anointed you king over the people of Yahweh, even over Israel. 6 So Jehu got up and went inside.[a] The prophet poured olive oil on Jehu's head and told him:
The Lord God of Israel has this message for you: "I am the Lord, and I have chosen you to be king of my people Israel. 6 Yehu got up and went into the house. Then the prophet poured the oil on his head and said to him, "This is what Adonai the God of Isra'el says: ‘I have anointed you king over the people of Adonai, over Isra'el.
6 And he rose up and went into the house; and he poured the oil on his head, and said to him, Thus saith Jehovah the God of Israel: I have anointed thee king over the people of Jehovah, over Israel.
6 Jehu got up and went into the house. Then the young prophet poured the oil on Jehu's head and said to him, "The Lord, the God of Israel, says, ‘I am anointing you to be the new king over the Lord's people, Israel.6 And he arose and went into an inner chamber; and he poured the oil on his head, and said to him, Thus says the LORD God of Israel, I have anointed you king over the people of the LORD, even over Israel. 6 (a)Then the two of them went indoors, and the young prophet poured the olive oil on Jehu's head and said to him, "The Lord, the God of Israel, proclaims: ‘I anoint you king of my people Israel. 6 He got up and went to the house, and poured the olive oil on his head and said to him, "Thus says Yahweh, the God of Israel: ‘I hereby anoint you as king over the people of Yahweh, over Israel. 6 And he rose up and came into the house, and poured the oil on his head, and said to him, So says Jehovah, the God of Israel, I have anointed you as king to the people of Jehovah, to Israel.6 Then stode he vp, and wente in. So he poured the oyle vpon his heade, and sayde vnto him: Thus sayeth the LORDE God of Israel: I haue anoynted ye to be kynge ouer the LORDES people of Israel, 6 And he arose, and went into the house; and he poured the oil on his head, and said unto him, Thus saith Jehovah, the God of Israel, I have anointed thee king over the people of Jehovah, even over Israel. 6 And he got up and went into the house; then he put the holy oil on his head and said to him, The Lord, the God of Israel, says, I have made you king over the people of the Lord, over Israel.6 And Iehu sayd: Unto whiche of al vs? He sayd: To thee, O captayne. And he arose, and went into the house, and he powred the oyle on his head, and sayde vnto him: Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, I haue annoynted thee to be king ouer the people of the Lorde, euen ouer Israel.6 And he arose, and went into the house; and he poured the oil on his head, and said unto him: 'Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel: I have anointed thee king over the people of the LORD, even over Israel.6 And hee arose, and went into the house, and hee powred the oyle on his head, and said vnto him, Thus sayth the Lord God of Israel, I haue anoynted thee king ouer the people of the Lord, euen ouer Israel. 6 And he arose, and went into the house: and he poured the oil upon his head, and said to him, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, I have anointed thee to be king over the people of the Lord, even over Israel. 6 And he arose, and went into the house; and he poured the oil on his head, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, I have anointed thee king over the people of the LORD, even over Israel. 6 So Jehu got up and went into the house, where the young prophet poured the oil on his head and declared, “This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: ‘I anoint you king over the LORD’s people Israel.6 And he roos, and entride into the closet. And thilk child schedde oile on the heed of hym, and seide, The Lord God of Israel seith these thingis, Y haue anointid thee in to kyng on the puple of the Lord of Israel; and thou schalt smyte the hows of Achab,6 And he riseth and cometh in to the house, and he poureth the oil on his head, and saith to him, `Thus said Jehovah, God of Israel, I have anointed thee for king unto the people of Jehovah, unto Israel,6 And he arose, and went into the house; and he poured the oil on his head, and said to him, This is what Yahweh, the God of Israel, says, I have anointed you king over the people of Yahweh, even over Israel.6 And he arose, and went into the house; and he poured the oil on his head, and said to him, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I have anointed thee king over the people of the LORD, [even] over Israel.6 He arose, and went into the house; and he poured the oil on his head, and said to him, Thus says Yahweh, the God of Israel, I have anointed you king over the people of Yahweh, even over Israel. 6 Then he arose and went into the house. 6 So Jehu left the others and went into the house. Then the young prophet poured the oil over Jehu's head and said, "This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: I anoint you king over the Lord's people, Israel. 6 So he got up and went into the house. He poured the oil on Jehu's head and said to him, "The Lord, the God of Israel, says, ‘I have chosen you king over the people of the Lord, over Israel. 6 So Jehu[b] got up and went inside; the young man poured the oil on his head, saying to him, "Thus says the Lord the God of Israel: I anoint you king over the people of the Lord, over Israel. 6 Then rose he up and went inside, and poured out the oil upon his head, and said unto him - Thus, saith Yahweh, God of Israel, I have anointed thee to be king unto the people of Yahweh, unto Israel;6 And he arose, and went into the chamber: and he poured the oil upon his head, and said: Thus saith the Lord God of Israel: I have anointed thee king over Israel, the people of the Lord.6 So he arose, and went into the house; and the young man poured the oil on his head, saying to him, "Thus says the LORD the God of Israel, I anoint you king over the people of the LORD, over Israel.6 And he rises and comes into the house, and he pours the oil on his head, and says to him, "Thus said YHWH, God of Israel: I have anointed you for king to the people of YHWH, to Israel,6-10 He got up and went inside the building. The young prophet poured the oil on his head and said, "God's word, the God of Israel: I've anointed you to be king over the people of God, over Israel. Your assignment is to attack the regime of Ahab your master. I am avenging the massacre of my servants the prophets—yes, the Jezebel-massacre of all the prophets of God. The entire line of Ahab is doomed. I'm wiping out the entire bunch of that sad lot. I'll see to it that the family of Ahab experiences the same fate as the family of Jeroboam son of Nebat and the family of Baasha son of Ahijah. As for Jezebel, the dogs will eat her carcass in the open fields of Jezreel. No burial for her!" Then he opened the door and made a run for it.6 He arose and went into the house, and he poured the oil on his head and said to him, "Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, '(C1)I have anointed you king over the people of the LORD, even over Israel.7 You are to strike down the house of your master Ahab so that I may avenge the blood shed by the hand of Jezebel—the blood of my servants the prophets and of all the servants of the Lord.(C1)
