1 (C1)In his days Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up, and Jehoiakim became his servant for three years; then he turned and rebelled against him.2 The Lord sent Chaldean, Aramean,(C1) Moabite,(C2) and Ammonite raiders against Jehoiakim. He sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of the Lord he had spoken through his servants the prophets.(C3) 2 The LORD sent against him bands of the Kasdim, and bands of the Aram, and bands of the Mo`avim, and bands of the children of `Ammon, and sent them against Yehudah to destroy it, according to the word of the LORD, which he spoke by his servants the prophets.
2 And the Lord sent against him bands of the Chaldees, and bands of the Syrians, and bands of the Moabites, and bands of the children of Ammon, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of the Lord, which he spake by his servants the prophets. 2 And the Lord sent against him bands of the (b)Chaldeans and (c)bands of the Syrians and bands of the Moabites and bands of the Ammonites, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, (d)according to the word of the Lord that he spoke by his servants the prophets. 2 The Lord sent raiding parties from Babylon, Aram, Moab, and Ammon against Jehoiakim to destroy Judah. This happened as the Lord had said it would through his servants the prophets. 2 The Lord sent against him Babylonian, Syrian, Moabite, and Ammonite raiding bands; he sent them to destroy Judah, as he had warned he would do through his servants the prophets. 2 The LORD sent marauding (C1)bands of Chaldeans, (C2)Arameans (Syrians), (C3)Moabites, and Ammonites against Jehoiakim. And He sent them against Judah to destroy it, (C4)in accordance with the word of the LORD which He spoke through His servants the prophets.2 And the LORD sent against him (C1)bands of Chaldeans, (C2)bands of Arameans, (C3)bands of Moabites, and bands of Ammonites. He sent them against Judah to destroy it, (C4)in accordance with the word of the LORD which He had spoken through His servants the prophets.2 Yahweh sent against him bands of the Chaldeans, and bands of the Syrians, and bands of the Moabites, and bands of the children of Ammon, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of Yahweh, which he spoke by his servants the prophets. 2 And the Lorde sent against him bandes of the Caldees, and bands of the Aramites, & bands of the Moabites, and bandes of the Ammonites, and he sent them against Iudah to destroy it, according to the worde of the Lord, which he spake by his seruants the Prophets.2 And Yahweh sent against him (C1)marauding bands of Chaldeans, (C2)marauding bands of Arameans, (C3)marauding bands of Moabites, and marauding bands of Ammonites. So He sent them against Judah to destroy it, (C4)according to the word of Yahweh which He had spoken by the hand of His slaves the prophets.2 And the LORD sent Chaldean(a), Aramean, Moabite, and Ammonite raiders against Jehoiakim in order to destroy Judah, according to the word the LORD had spoken through His servants the prophets.
2 At that time, the Lord started sending troops to rob and destroy towns in Judah. Some of these troops were from Babylonia, and others were from Syria, Moab, and Ammon. The Lord had sent his servants the prophets to warn Judah about this, 2 Adonai sent against him raiding parties from the Kasdim, Aram, Mo'av and the people of ‘Amon; he sent them against Y'hudah to destroy it, in keeping with the word of Adonai which he had spoken through his servants the prophets.
2 And Jehovah sent against him the bands of the Chaldeans, and the bands of the Syrians, and the bands of the Moabites, and the bands of the children of Ammon, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of Jehovah, which he spoke through his servants the prophets. 2 The Lord sent groups of Babylonians, Arameans, Moabites, and Ammonites to fight against Jehoiakim. He sent them to destroy Judah. This happened just as the Lord had said. He used his servants the prophets to say those things.2 And the LORD stirred up against him bands of the Chaldeans and bands of Edomites and bands of Moabites and bands of the children of Ammon, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of the LORD which he spoke by his servants the prophets from the mouth of the LORD. 2 The Lord sent armed bands of Babylonians, Syrians, Moabites, and Ammonites against Jehoiakim to destroy Judah, as the Lord had said through his servants the prophets that he would do. 2 So Yahweh sent against him raiding bands of Chaldeans, raiding bands of Aram, raiding bands of Moab, and raiding bands of the Ammonites.[a] He had sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of Yahweh that he had spoken by the hand of his servants the prophets. 2 And Jehovah sent against him the troops of the Chaldeans, and the troops of Syria, and the troops of Moab, and the troops of the Ammonites; and He sent them against Judah to destroy it, according tothe Word of Jehovah that He spoke by the handof His servants the prophets.2 And ye LORDE sent men of warre vpon him out of Chaldea, out of Syria, out of Moab, & fro amonge the childre of Ammon, & caused the for to come in to Iuda, to destroie it acordinge to the worde of the LORDE, which he spake by his seruauntes the prophetes. 2 And Jehovah sent against him bands of the Chaldeans, and bands of the Syrians, and bands of the Moabites, and bands of the children of Ammon, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of Jehovah, which he spake by his servants the prophets. 2 And the Lord sent against him bands of the Chaldaeans and of the Edomites and of the Moabites and of the children of Ammon; sending them against Judah for its destruction, as he had said by his servants the prophets.2 And the Lord sent against him bandes of the Chaldes, and bandes of the Syrians, and bandes of the Moabites, and bandes of the Ammonites: and sent them against Iuda to destroye it, according to the saying of the Lorde which he spake by his seruauntes the prophetes.2 And the LORD sent against him bands of the Chaldeans, and bands of the Arameans, and bands of the Moabites, and bands of the children of Ammon, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of the LORD, which He spoke by the hand of His servants the prophets.2 And the Lord sent against him bands of the Chaldees, and bandes of the Syrians, and bandes of the Moabites, and bands of the children of Ammon, and sent them against Iudah to destroy it, according to the word of the Lord, which hee spake by his seruants the Prophets. 2 And the lord sent against him the bands of the Chaldeans, and the bands of Syria, and the bans of Moab, and the bands of the children of Ammon, and sent them into the land of Juda to prevail against it, according to the word of the Lord, which he spoke by his servants the prophets. 2 And the LORD sent against him bands of the Chaldeans, and bands of the Syrians, and bands of the Moabites, and bands of the children of Ammon, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by the hand of his servants the prophets. 2 And the Lord sente to hym theuys of Caldeis, and theuys of Sirie, and theuys of Moab, and theuys of the sones of Amon; and he sente hem `in to Juda, that he schulde destrie it, bi the word of the Lord, which he spak bi hise seruauntis prophetis.2 And Yahweh sent against him bands of the Chaldeans, and bands of the Syrians, and bands of the Moabites, and bands of the sons of Ammon, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of Yahweh, which he spoke by his slaves the prophets.2 And the LORD sent against him bands of the Chaldees, and bands of the Syrians, and bands of the Moabites, and bands of the children of Ammon, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of the LORD, which he spoke by his servants the prophets.2 And the LORD sent against him raiding bands of Chaldeans, bands of Syrians, bands of Moabites, and bands of the people of Ammon; He sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of the LORD which He had spoken by His servants the prophets. 2 Then the Lord sent bands of Babylonian,[a] Aramean, Moabite, and Ammonite raiders against Judah to destroy it, just as the Lord had promised through his prophets. 2 The Lord sent armies of Babylonians, Syrians, Moabites and Ammonites against Jehoiakim. He sent them against Judah to destroy it, just as the word of the Lord had said through His men who spoke for Him. 2 The Lord sent against him bands of the Chaldeans, bands of the Arameans, bands of the Moabites, and bands of the Ammonites; he sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of the Lord that he spoke by his servants the prophets. 2 And Yahweh sent against him troops of Chaldeans, and troops of Syrians, and troops of Moabites, and troops of the sons of Ammon, yea he sent them against Judah, to destroy him, - according to the word of Yahweh, which he spake through his servants the prophets.2 And the Lord sent against him the rovers of the Chaldees, and the rovers of Syria, and the rovers of Moab, and the rovers of the children of Ammon: and he sent them against Juda, to destroy it, according to the word of the Lord, which he had spoken by his servants, the prophets.2 And the LORD sent against him bands of the Chalde'ans, and bands of the Syrians, and bands of the Moabites, and bands of the Ammonites, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of the LORD which he spoke by his servants the prophets.2 and Jehovah sendeth against him the troops of the Chaldeans, and the troops of Aram, and the troops of Moab, and the troops of the sons of Ammon, and He sendeth them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of Jehovah, that He spake by the hand of His servants the prophets;2 and YHWH sends against him the troops of the Chaldeans, and the troops of Aram, and the troops of Moab, and the troops of the sons of Ammon, and He sends them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of YHWH that He spoke by the hand of His servants the prophets;2-4 God dispatched a succession of raiding bands against him: Babylonian, Aramean, Moabite, and Ammonite. The strategy was to destroy Judah. Through the preaching of his servants and prophets, God had said he would do this, and now he was doing it. None of this was by chance—it was God's judgment as he turned his back on Judah because of the enormity of the sins of Manasseh—Manasseh, the killer-king, who made the Jerusalem streets flow with the innocent blood of his victims. God wasn't about to overlook such crimes.2 The LORD sent against him (C1)bands of Chaldeans, (C2)bands of Arameans, (C3)bands of Moabites, and bands of Ammonites. So He sent them against Judah to destroy it, (C4)according to the word of the LORD which He had spoken through His servants the prophets.3 Indeed, this happened to Judah at the Lord’s command to remove them from his presence.(C1) It was because of the sins of Manasseh, according to all he had done,(C2) 3 Surely at the mitzvah of the LORD came this on Yehudah, to remove them out of his sight, for the sins of Menashsheh, according to all that he did,
3 Surely at the commandment of the Lord came this upon Judah, to remove them out of his sight, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did; 3 Surely this came upon Judah at the command of the Lord, to remove them out of his sight, (e)for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he had done,
3 The Lord commanded this to happen to the people of Judah, to remove them from his presence, because of all the sins of Manasseh. 3 Just as the Lord had announced, he rejected Judah because of all the sins which Manasseh had committed. 3 (C1)Surely this came on Judah at the command of the LORD, to remove them from His sight (C2)because of the sins of King Manasseh, in accordance with everything that he had done,3 (C1)It indeed came upon Judah at the (F1)command of the LORD, to remove them from His sight (C2)due to the sins of Manasseh, in accordance with everything that he had done,3 Surely at the commandment of Yahweh came this on Judah, to remove them out of his sight, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did, 3 Surely by the commaundement of the Lorde came this vpon Iudah, that he might put them out of his sight for the sinnes of Manasseh, according to all that he did,3 (C1)Surely at the (F1)command of Yahweh it came upon Judah, to remove them from His presence (C2)because of the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he had done,3 Surely this happened to Judah at the LORD’s command, to remove them from His presence because of the sins of Manasseh and all that he had done, 3 and now he was making it happen. The country of Judah was going to be wiped out, because Manasseh had sinned 3 Yes, it was at Adonai's order that this happened to Y'hudah, in order to remove them from his sight because of the sins of M'nasheh and all he had done,
3 Verily, at the commandment of Jehovah it came to pass against Judah, that they should be removed out of his sight, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he had done;
3 The Lord commanded this to happen to Judah. In this way he would remove them from his sight. He did this because of all the sins that Manasseh committed.3 And there came a fierce wrath against Judah, to remove them out of his sight on account of the sins of Manasseh and all that he had done, 3 This happened at the Lord's command, in order to banish the people of Judah from his sight because of all the sins that King Manasseh had committed, 3 Surely, it was on the command[b] of Yahweh against Judah to remove them from his sight because of the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he had done. 3 Only at the mouth of Jehovah this came upon Judah, to remove them from His presence for the sins of Manasseh, according to all he did,3 It fortuned eue so vnto Iuda, acordynge to ye worde of the LORDE, that he wolde put them awaye from his presence, because of ye sinnes of Manasses which he dyd, 3 Surely at the commandment of Jehovah came this upon Judah, to remove them out of his sight, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did, 3 Only by the word of the Lord did this fate come on Judah, to take them away from before his face; because of the sins of Manasseh and all the evil he did;3 Onely at the bidding of the Lorde happened it so to Iuda, to put them out of his sight for the sinnes of Manasse, according to all that he did.3 Surely at the commandment of the LORD came this upon Judah, to remove them out of His sight, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did;3 Surely at the commandement of the Lord came this vpon Iudah, to remooue them out of his sight, for the sinnes of Manasseh, according to all that he did: 3 Moreover it was the purpose of the Lord concerning Juda, to remove them from his presence, because of the sins of Manasses, according to all that he did. 3 Surely at the commandment of the LORD came this upon Judah, to remove them out of his sight, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did; 3 Forsothe this was doon bi the word of the Lord ayens Juda, that he schulde do awei it bifor him silf, for the synnes of Manasses, and alle thingis whiche he dide,3 Surely at the commandment of Yahweh this came on Judah, to remove them out of his sight, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did,3 Surely at the commandment of the LORD came [this] upon Judah, to remove [them] out of his sight, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did;3 Surely at the commandment of the LORD this came upon Judah, to remove them from His sight because of the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he had done, 3 These disasters happened to Judah because of the Lord's command. He had decided to banish Judah from his presence because of the many sins of Manasseh, 3 This came upon Judah at the word of the Lord, to put them away from His eyes because of the sins Manasseh had done. 3 Surely this came upon Judah at the command of the Lord, to remove them out of his sight, for the sins of Manasseh, for all that he had committed, 3 Surely, it was, because of the anger of Yahweh, that this came upon Judah, to remove them from his presence, - for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he had done:3 And this came by the word of the Lord against Juda, to remove them from before him for all the sins of Manasses which he did;3 Surely this came upon Judah at the command of the LORD, to remove them out of his sight, for the sins of Manas'seh, according to all that he had done,3 only, by the command of Jehovah it hath been against Judah to turn [them] aside from His presence, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did,3 only, by the command of YHWH it has been against Judah to turn [them] aside from His presence, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did,3 (C1)Surely at the (F1)command of the LORD it came upon Judah, to remove them from His sight (C2)because of the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he had done,4 and also because of all the innocent blood he had shed. He had filled Jerusalem with innocent blood,(C1) and the Lord was not willing to forgive.
4 and also for the innocent blood that he shed; for he filled Yerushalayim with innocent blood: and the LORD would not pardon.4 And also for the innocent blood that he shed: for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood; which the Lord would not pardon. 4 and also (f)for the innocent blood that he had shed. For he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood, and the Lord would not pardon. 4 He had killed many innocent people and had filled Jerusalem with their blood. And the Lord would not forgive these sins. 4 Because he killed innocent people and stained Jerusalem with their blood, the Lord was unwilling to forgive them.4 and (C1)also for the innocent blood that he shed, for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood; and the LORD would not pardon it.4 and (C1)also for the innocent blood which he shed, for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood; and the LORD was unwilling to forgive.4 and also for the innocent blood that he shed; for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood: and Yahweh would not pardon. 4 And for the innocent blood that he shed, (for he filled Ierusalem with innocent blood) therefore the Lord would not pardon it.4 and (C1)also for the innocent blood which he shed, for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood; and Yahweh was not willing to pardon.4 and also for the innocent blood he had shed. For he had filled Jerusalem with innocent blood, and the LORD was unwilling to forgive. 4 and caused many innocent people to die. The Lord would not forgive this. 4 and also because of the innocent blood he had shed — for he had flooded Yerushalayim with innocent blood, and Adonai was unwilling to forgive.
4 and also [because of] the innocent blood that he had shed; for he had filled Jerusalem with innocent blood, and Jehovah would not pardon. 4 He did this because Manasseh killed many innocent people and filled Jerusalem with their blood. The Lord would not forgive these sins.4 And also for the innocent blood that he had shed; for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood, which the LORD would not pardon. 4 and especially because of all the innocent people he had killed. The Lord could not forgive Manasseh for that. 4 Also, for the blood of the innocent that he had shed—and he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood—Yahweh was not willing to forgive. 4 and also the innocent blood that he shed; for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood, and Jehovah was not willing to forgive.4 & because of the innocent bloude that he shed. And he fylled Ierusalem with innocent bloude, therfore wolde not the LORDE be reconcyled. 4 and also for the innocent blood that he shed; for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood: and Jehovah would not pardon. 4 And because of the death of those who had done no wrong, for he made Jerusalem full of the blood of the upright; and the Lord had no forgiveness for it.4 And for the innocent blood that he shed, and filled Hierusalem with innocent blood: and the Lorde would not be reconciled.4 and also for the innocent blood that he shed; for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood; and the LORD would not pardon.4 And also for the innocent blood that hee shedde: (for hee filled Ierusalem with innocent blood) which the Lord would not pardon. 4 Moreover he shed innocent blood, and filled Jerusalem with innocent blood, and the Lord would not pardon it. 4 and also for the innocent blood that he shed; for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood: and the LORD would not pardon. 4 and for the giltles blood which he sched out; and he fillide Jerusalem with the blood of innocentis; and for this thing the Lord nolde do mercy.4 and also for the innocent blood that he shed; for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood: and Yahweh would not pardon.4 And also for the innocent blood that he shed: for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood; which the LORD would not pardon.4 and also because of the innocent blood that he had shed; for he had filled Jerusalem with innocent blood, which the LORD would not pardon. 4 who had filled Jerusalem with innocent blood. The Lord would not forgive this. 4 And it happened because of the people Manasseh had killed who were not guilty. For he filled Jerusalem with their blood, and the Lord would not forgive. 4 and also for the innocent blood that he had shed; for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood, and the Lord was not willing to pardon. 4 moreover also, for the innocent blood that he had shed, so that he had filled Jerusalem with innocent blood, - which Yahweh was not willing to pardon.4 And for the innocent blood that he shed, filling Jerusalem with innocent blood: and therefore the Lord would not be appeased.4 and also for the innocent blood that he had shed; for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood, and the LORD would not pardon.4 and also the innocent blood that he hath shed, and he filleth Jerusalem with innocent blood, and Jehovah was not willing to forgive.4 and also the innocent blood that he has shed, and he fills Jerusalem with innocent blood, and YHWH was not willing to forgive.4 and (C1)also for the innocent blood which he shed, for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood; and the LORD would not forgive.
