Elijah said to him, “Elisha, stay here; the Lord is sending me to Jericho.”
Eliyah said to him, Elisha, please wait here, for the LORD has sent me to Yericho. He said, As the LORD lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you. So they came to Yericho.
And Elijah said unto him, Elisha, tarry here, I pray thee; for the Lord hath sent me to Jericho. And he said, As the Lord liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they came to Jericho.

Elijah and Elisha were traveling from Gilgal, 1 It happened, when the LORD would take up Eliyah by a whirlwind into heaven, that Eliyah went with Elisha from Gilgal. 1 And it came to pass, when the Lord would take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal. 1 Now when the Lord was about to take Elijah up to heaven by a whirlwind, Elijah and Elisha were on their way from Gilgal. 1 It was almost time for the Lord to take Elijah by a whirlwind up into heaven.
