4 Only, the high places were not removed: the people still sacrificed and burned incense on the high places. 4 But he did not destroy the high places. People still made sacrifices and burned incense in these places of worship.4 But the temple of idols he did not remove; the people still sacrificed and burned incense on the high places. 4 But the pagan places of worship were not destroyed, and the people continued to offer sacrifices and burn incense there. 4 Only he did not remove the high places; the people were still sacrificing and burning incense on the high places. 4 however, the high places were not taken away; the people still sacrificed and burned incense in the high places.4 sauynge that they put not downe the hye places. The people still gave gifts and burned special perfume on the high places. 4 Nevertheless the high places were not taken away; the people still sacrificed and made offerings on the high places. 4 Only, the high places, took they not away, - still were the people sacrificing and burning incense in the high places.4 But the high places he did not destroy, for the people sacrificed, and burnt incense in the high places.4 Nevertheless the high places were not taken away; the people still sacrificed and burned incense on the high places.4 only, the high places have not been removed—the people are still sacrificing and making incense in high places.4 Only (C1)the high places were not taken away; the people still sacrificed and burned incense on the high places.

5 The Lord afflicted the king, and he had a serious skin disease until the day of his death.(C1) He lived in quarantine,(F1)(C2) while Jotham,(C3) the king’s son, was over the household governing the people of the land.(C4)

He lived in separate quarters, while his son Jotham was in charge of the palace and ruled over the people of the land.5 And (C1)the LORD struck (afflicted) the king, and he was a leper until the day of his death, and (C2)lived in a separate house. And he (C2)lived in a separate house, (F1)while Jotham the king's son was in charge of the household, judging the people of the land.5 And the Lord smote the King: & he was a leper vnto the day of his death, and dwelt in an house apart, & Iotham the kings sonne gouerned the house, & iudged the people of the land.5 (C1)Then Yahweh smote the king, so that he was a leper to the day of his death. And he (C2)lived in a separate house, (F1)while Jotham the king's son was over the house, judging the people of the land.

His son Jotham was in charge of the king's palace, and he judged the people.5 And the LORD smote the king, so that he was a leper to the day of his death, and he dwelt in a house in seclusion. And Jotham the kings son was over the house, judging the people of the land. 5 The Lord struck Uzziah with a dreaded skin disease that stayed with him the rest of his life. He lived in a separate house, relieved of all duties, while his son Jotham governed the country. 5 Yahweh struck the king, and he was infected with a skin disease until the day of his death. He lived in a separate house, while Jotham the son of the king was over the house, governing the people of the land. 5 And Jehovah touched the king, and he was a leper to the day of his death; and he lived in a separate house, and Jotham the son of the king was over the house, judging the people of the land.5 Howbeit the LORDE smote the kynge, so that he was leper vnto his death, and dwelt in a frye house. But Iotham the kynges sonne ruled the house, and iudged the people in the londe. 5 And Jehovah smote the king, so that he was a leper unto the day of his death, and dwelt in a [b]separate house. And Jotham the king's son was over the household, judging the people of the land. 5 And the Lord sent disease on the king and he became a leper, and to the day of his death he was living separately in his private house. And Jotham his son was over his house, judging the people of the land.5 And the Lorde smote the king, and he was a leaper vnto the day of his death, and dwelt in a seuerall house at libertie: and Iotham the kinges sonne gouerned the palace, and iudged the people of the lande.5 And the LORD smote the king, so that he was a leper unto the day of his death, and dwelt in a house set apart. And Jotham the king's son was over the household, judging the people of the land.5 And the Lord smote the king, so that hee was a Leper vnto the day of his death, and dwelt in a seuerall house, and Iotham the kings sonne was ouer the house, iudging the people of the land. 5 And the Lord plagued the king, and he was leprous till the day of his death; and he reigned in a separate house. And Joatham the king’s son was over the household, judging the people of the land. 5 And the LORD smote the king, so that he was a leper unto the day of his death, and dwelt in a several house. And Jotham the king’s son was over the household, judging the people of the land: 5 And the LORD afflicted the king with leprosy(a) until the day he died, so that he lived in a separate house while his son Jotham had charge of the palace and governed the people of the land.5 Forsothe the Lord smoot the kyng, and he was leprouse til in to the day of his deeth; and he dwellide in an hous freli bi hym silf. Sotheli Joathas, sone of the kyng, gouernde the palis, and demyde the puple of the lond.5 And Jehovah smiteth the king, and he is a leper unto the day of his death, and he dwelleth in a separate house, and Jotham son of the king [is] over the house, judging the people of the land.5 And Yahweh smote the king, so that he was a leper to the day of his death, and dwelt in a separate house. And Jotham the king's son was over the household, judging the people of the land.5 And the LORD smote the king, so that he was a leper to the day of his death, and dwelt in a separate house. And Jotham the king's son [was] over the house, judging the people of the land.5 Yahweh struck the king, so that he was a leper to the day of his death, and lived in a separate house. Jotham the king's son was over the household, judging the people of the land. 5 Then the LORD struck the king, so that he was a leper until the day of his death; so he dwelt in an isolated house. And Jotham the king's son was over the royal house, judging the people of the land. 5 The Lord struck the king with leprosy,[b] which lasted until the day he died. He lived in isolation in a separate house. The king's son Jotham was put in charge of the royal palace, and he governed the people of the land. 5 So the Lord sent trouble upon the king. Azariah had a bad skin disease to the day of his death, and he lived in a house alone. Jotham the king's son ruled over the house, and judged the people of the land. 5 The Lord struck the king, so that he was leprous[a] to the day of his death, and lived in a separate house. Jotham the king's son was in charge of the palace, governing the people of the land. 5 And Yahweh smote the king, so that he became a leper, until the day of his death, and dwelt in a lazar-house, - and, Jotham, son of the king, was over the house, judging the people of the land.5 And the Lord struck the king, so that he was a leper unto the day of his death, and he dwelt in a free house apart: but Joatham, the king’s son, governed the palace, and judged the people of the land.5 And the LORD smote the king, so that he was a leper to the day of his death, and he dwelt in a separate house. And Jotham the king's son was over the household, governing the people of the land.5 And YHWH strikes the king, and he is a leper to the day of his death, and he dwells in a separate house, and Jotham son of the king [is] over the house, judging the people of the land.5 (C1)The LORD struck the king, so that he was a leper to the day of his death.
