2 And Jehoash did that which was right in the sight of the Lord all his days wherein Jehoiada the priest instructed him. 2 And Jehoash did what was right in the eyes of the Lord all his days, because Jehoiada the priest instructed him. 2 Joash did what the Lord said was right as long as Jehoiada the priest taught him. 2 Throughout his lifetime Jehoash did what the Lord approved, just as Jehoiada the priest taught him. 2 Jehoash did right in the sight of the LORD all his days in which Jehoiada the priest instructed him.2 Jehoash did what was right in the sight of the LORD all his days that Jehoiada the priest instructed him.2 And Iehoash did that which was good in the sight of the Lord all his time that Iehoiada the Priest taught him.2 And Jehoash did what was right in the sight of Yahweh all his days in which Jehoiada the priest instructed him.
2 Jehoiada the priest taught Joash what was right, and so for the rest of his life Joash obeyed the Lord. 2 (1) It was in the seventh year of Yehu that Y'ho'ash began to rule, and he ruled forty years in Yerushalayim. His mother's name was Tzivyah, from Be'er-Sheva.
2 And Jehoash did what was right in the sight of Jehovah, all the days wherein Jehoiada the priest instructed him. 2 For as long as he lived, Joash did what the Lord considered right. He did what Jehoiada the priest taught him.2 And Joash did that which was right in the sight of the LORD all his days wherein Jehoiada the priest instructed him. 2 Throughout his life he did what pleased the Lord, because Jehoiada the priest instructed him. 2 Jehoash did right in the eyes of Yahweh all of his days, because Jehoiada the priest instructed him. 2 And Joash did that which was good in the eyes of Jehovah all his days in which Jehoiada the priest guided him;2 And Ioas dyd that which was righte in the sighte of the LORDE, as longe as Ioiada ye prest taught him. 2 And Jehoash did that which was right in the eyes of Jehovah all his days wherein Jehoiada the priest instructed him. 2 Jehoash did what was right in the eyes of the Lord all his days, because he was guided by the teaching of Jehoiada the priest.2 And he did that which was good in the sight of the Lorde, as long as Iehoiada the priest enfourmed him.2 In the seventh year of Jehu began Jehoash to reign; and he reigned forty years in Jerusalem; and his mother's name was Zibiah of Beer-sheba.2 And Iehoash did that which was right in the sight of the Lord all his dayes, wherein Iehoiada the Priest instructed him. 2 And Joas did that which was right in the sight of the Lord all the days that Jodae the priest instructed him. 2 And Jehoash did that which was right in the eyes of the LORD all his days wherein Jehoiada the priest instructed him. 2 And Joash did what was right in the eyes of the LORD all the days he was instructed by Jehoiada the priest.2 And Joas dide riytfulnesse bifor the Lord in alle the daies, in whiche Joiada, the preest, tauyte hym.2 and Jehoash doth that which is right in the eyes of Jehovah all his days in which Jehoiada the priest directed him,2 And Jehoash did that which was right in the eyes of Yahweh all his days wherein Jehoiada the priest instructed him.2 And Jehoash did [that which was] right in the sight of the LORD all his days wherein Jehoiada the priest instructed him.2 Jehoash did that which was right in the eyes of Yahweh all his days in which Jehoiada the priest instructed him. 2 Jehoash did what was right in the sight of the LORD all the days in which Jehoiada the priest instructed him. 2 All his life Joash did what was pleasing in the Lord's sight because Jehoiada the priest instructed him. 2 Joash did what was right in the eyes of the Lord all his days, because Jehoiada the religious leader taught him. 2 Jehoash did what was right in the sight of the Lord all his days, because the priest Jehoiada instructed him. 2 And Jehoash did that which was right in the eyes of Yahweh all his days, - whereunto, Jehoiada the priest, instructed him:2 And Joas did that which was right before the Lord all the days that Joiada, the priest, taught him.2 And Jeho'ash did what was right in the eyes of the LORD all his days, because Jehoi'ada the priest instructed him.2 and Jehoash does that which is right in the eyes of YHWH all his days in which Jehoiada the priest directed him,2-3 Taught and trained by Jehoiada the priest, Joash did what pleased God for as long as he lived. (Even so, he didn't get rid of the sacred fertility shrines—people still frequented them, sacrificing and burning incense.)2 Jehoash did right in the sight of the LORD all his days in which Jehoiada the priest instructed him.3 Yet the high places were not taken away; the people continued sacrificing and burning incense on the high places.(C1)
3 However the high places were not taken away; the people still sacrificed and burnt incense in the high places.3 But the high places were not taken away: the people still sacrificed and burnt incense in the high places. 3 Nevertheless, (a)the high places were not taken away; the people continued to sacrifice and make offerings on the high places. 3 But the places where gods were worshiped were not removed; the people still made sacrifices and burned incense there. 3 But the high places were not eliminated; the people continued to offer sacrifices and burn incense on the high places.3 Only (C1)the high places were not removed; the people were still sacrificing and burning incense to the LORD on the high places rather than at the temple.3 Only (C1)the high places did not end; the people still sacrificed and burned incense on the high places.3 But the hie places were not taken away: for the people offred yet and burnt incense in the hie places.3 Only (C1)the high places were not taken away; the people still sacrificed and burned incense on the high places. 3 But even Joash did not destroy the local shrines,[b] and they were still used as places for offering sacrifices. 3 (2) Y'ho'ash did what was right from Adonai's perspective throughout the lifetime of Y'hoyada the cohen, who instructed him.
3 Only, the high places were not removed: the people still sacrificed and burned incense on the high places. 3 But he did not destroy the high places. The people still made sacrifices and burned incense at those places of worship.3 But the temples of idols were not taken away; the people still sacrificed and burned incense on the high places. 3 However, the pagan places of worship were not destroyed, and the people continued to offer sacrifices and burn incense there. 3 Only the high places were not removed; the people were still making sacrifices and offering incense on the high places.3 only, the high places were not destroyed; the people still sacrificed and offered incense in high places.3 But they put not downe ye hye places: for the people offred & brent incense yet vpon the hye places. 3 Howbeit the high places were not taken away; the people still sacrificed and burnt incense in the high places.3 But the high places were not taken away; the people went on making offerings and burning them in the high places.3 But the high places were not taken away: for the people offred and burnt incense yet vpon the high places.3 And Jehoash did that which was right in the eyes of the LORD all his days wherein Jehoiada the priest instructed him.3 But the high places were not taken away: the people still sacrificed, and burnt incense in the high places. 3 Only there were not any of the high places removed, and the people still sacrificed there, and burned incense on the high places.3 Howbeit the high places were not taken away: the people still sacrificed and burnt incense in the high places. 3 Nevertheless, the high places were not removed; the people continued sacrificing and burning incense there.3 Netheles he dide noyt awey hiy thingis; for yit the puple made sacrifice, and brente encense in hiye thingis.3 only, the high places have not turned aside, still are the people sacrificing and making perfume in high places.3 Nevertheless the high places were not taken away; the people still sacrificed and burnt incense in the high places.3 But the high places were not taken away: the people still sacrificed and burnt incense in the high places.3 However the high places were not taken away; the people still sacrificed and burnt incense in the high places. 3 But the high places were not taken away; the people still sacrificed and burned incense on the high places. 3 Yet even so, he did not destroy the pagan shrines, and the people still offered sacrifices and burned incense there. 3 But the high places were not taken away. The people still gave gifts and burned special perfume on the high places. 3 Nevertheless the high places were not taken away; the people continued to sacrifice and make offerings on the high places.3 save only, that, the high places, took they not away, - still were the people sacrificing and burning incense in the high places.3 But yet he took not away the high places: for the people still sacrificed and burnt incense in the high places.3 Nevertheless the high places were not taken away; the people continued to sacrifice and burn incense on the high places.3 only, the high places have not been removed—the people are still sacrificing and making incense in high places.3 Only (C1)the high places were not taken away; the people still sacrificed and burned incense on the high places.
