1 So all the work Solomon did for the Lord’s temple was completed. Then Solomon brought the consecrated things of his father David—the silver, the gold, and all the utensils—and put them in the treasuries of God’s temple.
1 Thus all the work that Shlomo did for the house of the LORD was finished. Shlomo brought in the things that David his father had dedicated, even the silver, and the gold, and all the vessels, and put them in the treasuries of the house of God.
1 Thus all the work that Solomon made for the house of the Lord was finished: and Solomon brought in all the things that David his father had dedicated; and the silver, and the gold, and all the instruments, put he among the treasures of the house of God.
1 (a)Thus all the work that Solomon did for the house of the Lord was finished. And Solomon brought in the things that David his father had dedicated, and stored the silver, the gold, and all the vessels in the treasuries of the house of God.
1 Finally all the work Solomon did for the Temple of the Lord was finished. He brought in everything his father David had set apart for the Temple—all the silver and gold and other articles. And he put everything in the treasuries of God's Temple.
1 1 When Solomon had finished constructing the Lord's temple, he put the holy items that belonged to his father David (the silver, gold, and all the other articles) in the treasuries of God's temple.
The Ark Is Brought into the Temple
1 (C1)Thus all the work that Solomon did for the house of the LORD was finished. He brought in the (C2)things that his father David had dedicated, and he put the silver and the gold and all the utensils in the treasuries of the house of God.

The Ark Brought into the House of Yahweh
1 (C1)Thus all the work that Solomon did for the house of Yahweh was finished. And Solomon brought in the (F1)(C2)things set apart as holy by his father David, even the silver and the gold and all the utensils, and he put them in the treasuries of the house of God.
The Ark Enters the Temple
(1 Kings 8:1-11)
1 So all the work that Solomon had performed for the house of the LORD was completed. Then Solomon brought the consecrated items of his father David—the silver, the gold, and all the furnishings—and he placed them in the treasuries of the house of God.
1 After the Lord's temple was finished, Solomon put in its storage rooms everything that his father David had dedicated to the Lord, including the gold and silver, and the objects used in worship.
1 Thus all the work that Shlomo did for the house of Adonai was finished. Then Shlomo brought in the gifts which David his father had consecrated — the silver, the gold and all the utensils — and put them in the treasuries of the house of God.
1 And all the work was finished that Solomon made for the house of Jehovah. And Solomon brought in the things that David his father had dedicated; and the silver, and the gold, and all the vessels he put among the treasures of the house of God.
1 When all the work was completed on the Lord's Temple, Solomon brought in everything his father David had set aside for the Temple. Solomon put all the furniture and all the things made of silver and gold into the storage rooms in God's Temple.
1 THUS all the work that Solomon made for the house of the LORD was finished; and Solomon brought in all the things which David his father had dedicated; and the silver and the gold and all the vessels he put in the treasures of the house of the LORD.
1 (a)When King Solomon finished all the work on the Temple, he placed in the Temple storerooms all the things that his father David had dedicated to the Lord—the silver, gold, and other articles.
The Ark Installed in the Temple
1 When all the work that Solomon did for the house of Yahweh was finished, Solomon brought the holy objects of David his father: the silver, the gold, and all the objects he had put into the storehouses of the house of God.
1 And all the work that Solomon made for the house of Jehovah was finished. And Solomon brought in the dedicated things of his father David, and the silver, and the gold, and all the vessels he had put among the treasures of the house of God.
1 Thus was all ye worke fynished, which Salomon made in the house of the LORDE.And Salomon broughte in all yt his father Dauid had sanctified, namely, syluer and golde, and all maner of ornamentes, and layed them in the treasures of the house of God.
1 Thus all the work that Solomon wrought for the house of Jehovah was finished. And Solomon brought in the things that David his father had dedicated, even the silver, and the gold, and all the vessels, and put them in the treasuries of the house of God.

1 That completed the work King Solomon did on The Temple of God. He then brought in the holy offerings of his father David, the silver and the gold and the artifacts. He placed them all in the treasury of God's Temple.

1 (C1)Thus all the work that Solomon performed for the house of the LORD was finished. And Solomon brought in the (F1)(C2)things that David his father had dedicated, even the silver and the gold and all the utensils, and put them in the treasuries of the house of God.
Preparations for the Temple Dedication
2 At that time(C1) Solomon assembled at Jerusalem the elders of Israel—all the tribal heads, the ancestral chiefs of the Israelites—in order to bring the ark of the covenant of the Lord up from the city of David,(C2) that is, Zion. 2 Then Shlomo assembled the Zakenim of Yisra'el, and all the heads of the tribes, the princes of the fathers' [houses] of the children of Yisra'el, to Yerushalayim, to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the city of David, which is Tziyon.
2 Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the chief of the fathers of the children of Israel, unto Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of the Lord out of the city of David, which is Zion.
The Ark Brought to the Temple
2 Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel and all the heads of the tribes, the leaders of the fathers' houses of the people of Israel, in Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of the Lord out of (b)the city of David, which is Zion.
The Ark Is Brought into the Temple
2 Solomon called for the elders of Israel, the heads of the tribes, and the leaders of the families to come to him in Jerusalem. He wanted them to bring the Ark of the Agreement with the Lord from the older part of the city.
Solomon Moves the Ark into the Temple
2 Then Solomon convened Israel's elders—all the leaders of the Israelite tribes and families—in Jerusalem, so they could witness the transferal of the ark of the covenant of the Lord from the City of David (that is, Zion).
2 (C1)Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel and all the heads of the tribes, the leaders of the fathers' households of the Israelites, in Jerusalem (C2)to bring the ark of the covenant of the LORD up from the City of David, which is Zion.
2 (C1)Then Solomon assembled at Jerusalem the elders of Israel, all the heads of the tribes, and the leaders of the fathers' households of the sons of Israel, (C2)to bring the ark of the covenant of the LORD up from the city of David, which is Zion.2 Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the princes of the fathers' [houses] of the children of Israel, to Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of Yahweh out of the city of David, which is Zion. 2 Then Salomon assembled the Elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the chiefe fathers of the children of Israel vnto Ierusalem to bring vp the Arke of the couenant of the Lorde from the citie of Dauid, which is Zion.
2 (C1)Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel and all the heads of the tribes, the leaders of the fathers' households of the sons of Israel to Jerusalem, (C2)to bring up the ark of the covenant of Yahweh from the city of David, which is Zion.2 At that time Solomon assembled in Jerusalem the elders of Israel—all the tribal heads and family leaders of the Israelites—to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD from Zion, the City of David.2-3 The sacred chest had been kept on Mount Zion, also known as the city of David. But Solomon decided to have the chest moved to the temple while everyone was in Jerusalem to celebrate the Festival of Shelters during the seventh month.[a]
Solomon called together all the important leaders of Israel.
2 Shlomo assembled all the leaders of Isra'el and all the heads of the tribes and the chiefs of the paternal clans of the people of Isra'el, to Yerushalayim, to bring the ark for the covenant of Adonai out of the City of David, also known as Tziyon.
2 Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the princes of the fathers of the children of Israel, to Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of Jehovah out of the city of David, which is Zion.
The Holy Box Carried Into the Temple
2 Solomon commanded the elders of Israel, the leaders of the tribes, and the heads of families to meet together in Jerusalem. He did this so that they could bring the Box of the Lord's Agreement up to the Temple from the City of David, that is, Zion.2 Then Solomon assembled at Jerusalem all the elders of Israel and all the heads of the tribes, the chiefs of the fathers of the children of Israel, to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD from the city of David, which is Zion.
The Covenant Box Is Brought to the Temple(b)
2 (c)Then King Solomon summoned all the leaders of the tribes and clans of Israel to assemble in Jerusalem, in order to take the Lord's Covenant Box from Zion, David's City,[a] to the Temple. 2 Then Solomon assembled all the elders of Israel and all the heads of the tribes, the leaders of the families[a] for the Israelites,[b] to Jerusalem in order to bring up the ark of the covenant of Yahweh from the city of David, which is Zion. 2 Then Solomon gathered the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, rulers of the fathers of the sons of Israel, to Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of Jehovah from the city of David; it is Zion.2 The gathered Salomon all the Elders in Israel together, all ye heades of the trybes, prynces of the fathers amoge the childre of Israel vnto Ierusale, to brynge vp the Arke of the couenaunt of the LORDE out of the cite of Dauid, that is Sion.
2 Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the princes of the fathers' houses of the children of Israel, unto Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of Jehovah out of the city of David, which is Zion. 2 Then Solomon sent for all the responsible men of Israel, all the chiefs of the tribes and the heads of families of the children of Israel, to come to Jerusalem and take the ark of the Lord's agreement up out of the town of David, which is Zion.2 Then Solomon gathered the elders of Israel together, and all the heades of the tribes and auncient fathers of the children of Israel, vnto Hierusalem, to bring the arke of the couenaunt of the Lorde out of the citie of Dauid, whiche is [in] Sion.2 Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the princes of the fathers' houses of the children of Israel, unto Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the city of David, which is Zion.2 Then Solomon assembled the Elders of Israel, and all the heads of the Tribes, the chiefe of the fathers of the children of Israel vnto Ierusalem, to bring vp the Arke of the Couenant of the Lord, out of the citie of Dauid, which is Zion. 2 Then Solomon assembled all the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, even the leaders of the families of the children of Israel, to Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of the Lord out of the city of David, this is Sion. 2 Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the princes of the fathers’ houses of the children of Israel, unto Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the city of David, which is Zion. 2 After whiche thingis he gaderide togidere alle the grettere men in birthe of Israel, and alle the princes of lynagis, and the heedis of meynees, of the sones of Israel, in to Jerusalem, that thei schulden brynge the arke of boond of pees of the Lord fro the citee of Dauid, which is Syon.2 Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the princes of the fathers' [houses] of the sons of Israel, to Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of Yahweh out of the city of David, which is Zion.2 Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the chief of the fathers of the children of Israel, to Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD from the city of David, which [is] Zion.2 [xr] Now Solomon assembled the elders of Israel and all the heads of the tribes, the chief fathers of the children of Israel, in Jerusalem, that they might bring the ark of the covenant of the LORD up from the City of David, which is Zion.
The Ark Brought to the Temple
2 Solomon then summoned to Jerusalem the elders of Israel and all the heads of tribes—the leaders of the ancestral families of Israel. They were to bring the Ark of the Lord's Covenant to the Temple from its location in the City of David, also known as Zion.
The Special Box Brought into the House of God
2 Then Solomon gathered to Jerusalem the leaders of Israel, and all the heads of the families, the leaders of the fathers' houses of the sons of Israel. He called them together to bring up the special box with the Law of the Lord out of the city of David, which is Zion.
The Ark Brought into the Temple
2 Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel and all the heads of the tribes, the leaders of the ancestral houses of the people of Israel, in Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of the Lord out of the city of David, which is Zion. 2 Then, Solomon called together the elders of Israel, and all the chiefs of the tribes, the ancestral leaders of the sons of Israel, unto Jerusalem, - to bring up the ark of the covenant of Yahweh out of the city of David, the same, is Zion.2 And after this he gathered together the ancients of Israel and all the princes of the tribes, and the heads of the families, of the children of Israel to Jerusalem, to bring the ark of the covenant of the Lord out of the city of David, which is Sion.2 Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel and all the heads of the tribes, the leaders of the fathers' houses of the people of Israel, in Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the city of David, which is Zion.2 Then doth Solomon assemble the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, princes of the fathers of the sons of Israel, unto Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of Jehovah from the city of David -- it [is] Zion.2 Then Solomon assembles the elderly of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, princes of the fathers of the sons of Israel, to Jerusalem, to bring up the Ark of the Covenant of YHWH from the City of David—it [is] Zion.2-3 Bringing all this to a climax, Solomon got all the leaders together in Jerusalem—all the chiefs of tribes and the family patriarchs—to move the Chest of the Covenant of God from Zion and install it in The Temple. All the men of Israel assembled before the king on the feast day of the seventh month, the Feast of Booths.
2 (C1)Then Solomon assembled to Jerusalem the elders of Israel and all the heads of the tribes, the leaders of the fathers' households of the sons of Israel, (C2)to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the city of David, which is Zion.3 So all the men of Israel were assembled in the king’s presence at the festival; this was in the seventh month.(F1)
3 nd all the men of Yisra'el assembled themselves to the king at the feast, which was [in] the seventh month.3 Wherefore all the men of Israel assembled themselves unto the king in the feast which was in the seventh month. 3 And all the men of Israel assembled before the king at the feast that is in the seventh month. 3 So all the Israelites came together with the king during the festival in the seventh month. 3 All the men of Israel assembled before the king during the festival in the seventh month. 3 (C1)All the men of Israel gathered before the king at (C2)the feast in the seventh month.3 (C1)All the men of Israel assembled themselves before the king at (C2)the feast, that is in the seventh month.3 nd all the men of Israel assembled themselves to the king at the feast, which was [in] the seventh month. 3 And all ye men of Israel assembled vnto the King at the feast: it was in ye seuenth moneth.3 (C1)And all the men of Israel assembled themselves to the king at (C2)the feast, that is in the seventh month.3 So all the men of Israel came together to the king at the feast in the seventh month. 3 All the people of Isra'el assembled before the king at the festival in the seventh month.
3 And all the men of Israel assembled themselves to the king at the feast, that of the seventh month. 3 All the men of Israel met together before King Solomon during the special festival[a] in the seventh month of the year.3 Wherefore all the men of Israel assembled themselves to King Solomon at Jerusalem in the feast of tabernacles, which is in the seventh month. 3 They all assembled at the time of the Festival of Shelters. 3 And all the men of Israel assembled before the king at the feast that is in the seventh month. 3 And all the men of Israel were gathered to the king in the feast; it was the seventh month.3 And there resorted vnto the kynge all the men in Israel at the feast, that is in the seuenth moneth, 3 And all the men of Israel assembled themselves unto the king at the feast, which was in the seventh month. 3 And all the men of Israel came together to the king at the feast in the seventh month.3 Wherefore all the men of Israel resorted vnto the king in the feast, euen in the seuenth moneth.3 And all the men of Israel assembled themselves unto the king at the feast, which was in the seventh month.3 Wherefore all the men of Israel assembled themselues vnto the king in the feast, which was in the seuenth moneth. 3 And all Israel were assembled unto the king in the feast, this is the seventh month. 3 And all the men of Israel assembled themselves unto the king at the feast, which was [in] the seventh month. 3 Therfor alle men of Israel camen to the kyng, in the solempne dai of the seuenthe monethe.3 And all the men of Israel assembled themselves to the king at the feast, which was [in] the seventh month.3 Wherefore all the men of Israel assembled themselves to the king in the feast which [was] in the seventh month.3 Therefore all the men of Israel assembled with the king at the feast, which was in the seventh month. 3 So all the men of Israel assembled before the king at the annual Festival of Shelters, which is held in early autumn.[a] 3 All the men of Israel gathered together in front of the king at the special supper in the seventh month. 3 And all the Israelites assembled before the king at the festival that is in the seventh month. 3 And all the men of Israel came together unto the king, in the festival, - the same, was the seventh month.3 And all the men of Israel came to the king in the solemn day of the seventh month.3 And all the men of Israel assembled before the king at the feast which is in the seventh month.3 And assembled unto the king are all the men of Israel in the feast -- it [is] the seventh month;3 And all the men of Israel are assembled to the king in the celebration—it [is] the seventh month;3 (C1)All the men of Israel assembled themselves to the king at (C2)the feast, that is in the seventh month.
4 All the elders of Israel came, and the Levites picked up the ark. 4 All the Zakenim of Yisra'el came: and the Levites took up the ark;
4 And all the elders of Israel came; and the Levites took up the ark. 4 And all the elders of Israel came, (c)and the Levites took up the ark.
4 When all the elders of Israel arrived, the Levites lifted up the Ark. 4 When all Israel's elders had arrived, the Levites lifted the ark. 4 And all the elders of Israel came, and (C1)the Levites took up the ark.4 Then all the elders of Israel came, and (C1)the Levites picked up the ark.4 All the elders of Israel came: and the Levites took up the ark; 4 And all the Elders of Israel came, and the Leuites tooke vp the Arke.4 Then all the elders of Israel came, and (C1)the Levites carried the ark.4 When all the elders of Israel had arrived, the Levites took up the ark,4-5 Then the priests and the Levites picked up the sacred chest, the sacred tent, and the objects used for worship, and they carried them to the temple. 4 All the leaders of Isra'el came. The L'vi'im took the ark
4 And all the elders of Israel came; and the Levites took up the ark.
4 When all the elders of Israel arrived, the Levites[b] lifted the Box of the Agreement4 And all the elders of Israel came; and the priests took up the ark. 4 When all the leaders had gathered, then the Levites lifted the Covenant Box 4 And all the elders of Israel came, and the Levites took up the ark. 4 And all the elders of Israel came in, and the Levites lifted up the ark,4 and all ye Elders in Israel came. And ye Leuites toke the Arke, 4 And all the elders of Israel came: and the Levites took up the ark; 4 All the responsible men of Israel came, and the Levites took up the ark.4 And all the elders of Israel came, and the Leuites toke vp the arke.4 And all the elders of Israel came, and the Levites took up the ark.4 And all the Elders of Israel came, and the Leuites tooke vp the Arke. 4 And all the elders of Israel came; and all the Levites took up the ark, 4 And all the elders of Israel came, and the Levites took up the ark. 4 And whanne alle the eldre men of Israel `weren comen, the dekenes baren the arke,4 And all the elders of Israel came: and the Levites took up the ark;4 And all the elders of Israel came; and the Levites took up the ark.4 So all the elders of Israel came, and the Levites took up the ark.
4 When all the elders of Israel arrived, the Levites picked up the Ark. 4 All the leaders of Israel came, and the Levites took up the special box of God. 4 And all the elders of Israel came, and the Levites carried the ark. 4 And all the elders of Israel came in, - and the Levites bare the ark;4 And when all the ancients of Israel were come, the Levites took up the ark,4 And all the elders of Israel came, and the Levites took up the ark.4 and all the elders of Israel come in, and the Levites lift up the ark,4 and all [the] elderly of Israel come in, and the Levites lift up the Ark,4-6 When all the leaders of Israel were ready, the Levites took up the Chest. They carried the Chest, the Tent of Meeting, and all the sacred things in the Tent used in worship. The priests, all Levites, carried them. King Solomon and the entire congregation of Israel were there before the Chest, worshiping and sacrificing huge numbers of sheep and cattle—so many that no one could keep track.4 Then all the elders of Israel came, and (C1)the Levites took up the ark.5 They brought up the ark, the tent of meeting, and the holy utensils that were in the tent. The priests and the Levites brought them up. 5 and they brought up the ark, and the tent of meeting, and all the holy vessels that were in the Tent; these did the Kohanim the Levites bring up.
