1 The following were the divisions of the gatekeepers:
1 For the courses of the doorkeepers: of the Korchi, Meshelemyah the son of Kore, of the sons of Asaf.
1 Concerning the divisions of the porters: Of the Korhites was Meshelemiah the son of Kore, of the sons of Asaph.

1 These are the groups of the gatekeepers. From the family of Korah, there was Meshelemiah son of Kore, who was from Asaph's family.

1 The temple guards were also divided into groups according to clans.
Meshelemiah son of Kore was from the Korah clan and was a descendant of Asaph.

1 The gate-keepers were divided up. Of the Korahites there was Meshelemiah the son of Kore, a son of Asaph.

1 For the courses of the gatekeepers: of the Korhites [is] Meshelemiah son of Kore, of the sons of Asaph;
1 For the divisions of the gatekeepers, of the Korahites: Meshelemiah son of Kore, of the sons of Asaph;1-11 The teams of security guards were from the family of Korah: Meshelemiah son of Kore (one of the sons of Asaph). Meshelemiah's sons were Zechariah, the firstborn, followed by Jediael, Zebadiah, Jathniel, Elam, Jehohanan, and Eliehoenai—seven sons. Obed-Edom's sons were Shemaiah, the firstborn, followed by Jehozabad, Joah, Sacar, Nethanel, Ammiel, Issachar, and Peullethai—God blessed him with eight sons. His son Shemaiah had sons who provided outstanding leadership in the family: Othni, Rephael, Obed, and Elzabad; his relatives Elihu and Semakiah were also exceptional. These all came from the line of Obed-Edom—all of them outstanding and strong. There were sixty-two of them. Meshelemiah had eighteen sons and relatives who were outstanding. The sons of Hosah the Merarite were Shimri (he was not the firstborn but his father made him first), then Hilkiah, followed by Tabaliah and Zechariah. Hosah accounted for thirteen.

4 —And the sons of Obed-Edom: Shemaiah the firstborn, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third, and Sacar the fourth, and Nethaneel the fifth,
4 Obed Edom had sons. His oldest son was Shemaiah. Jehozabad was his second son. Joah was his third son. Sacar was his fourth son. Nethanel was his fifth son.4 Moreover, the sons of Ober-edom were Shemaiah his first-born, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third, Shabar the fourth, and Matlal the fifth,

God blessed Obed-Edom with children. 5 the sixth Ammiel, the seventh Issachar, and the eighth Peullethai. God had richly blessed Obed-edom. 5 Ammiel was his sixth son, Issachar the seventh, and Peullethai the eighth. God had brought good to the father. 5 Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Peullethai the eighth; for God blessed him. 5 Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Peullethai, the eighth, - for God had blessed him.5 Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Phollathi the eighth: for the Lord had blessed him.5 Am'mi-el the sixth, Is'sachar the seventh, Pe-ul'lethai the eighth; for God blessed him.5 Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Peullethai the eighth, for God hath blessed him.5 Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Peullethai the eighth, for God has blessed him.5 Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh and Peullethai the eighth; God had indeed blessed him.

6 Also, to his son Shemaiah were born sons who ruled their ancestral families(F1) because they were strong, capable men.
6 Also to Shemayah his son were sons born, who ruled over the house of their father; for they were mighty men of valor.6 Also unto Shemaiah his son were sons born, that ruled throughout the house of their father: for they were mighty men of valour. 6 Also to his son Shemaiah were sons born who were rulers in their fathers' houses, for they were men of great ability.
6 Obed-Edom's son Shemaiah also had sons. They were leaders in their father's family because they were capable men.
6 His son Shemaiah also had sons, who were leaders of their families, for they were highly respected. 6 Also to his son Shemaiah sons were born who ruled over the house of their father, for they were courageous men of ability.6 Also to his son Shemaiah sons were born who ruled over the house of their father, for they were valiant mighty men.6 Also to Shemaiah his son were sons born, who ruled over the house of their father; for they were mighty men of valor. 6 And to Shemaiah his sonne, were sonnes borne, that ruled in the house of their father, for they were men of might.6
