Then Saul took his sword and fell on it. 4 Then said Sha'ul to his armor-bearer, Draw your sword, and thrust me through therewith, lest these uncircumcised come and abuse me. But his armor-bearer would not; for he was sore afraid. Therefore Sha'ul took his sword, and fell on it.

4 Then said Saul to his armourbearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and abuse me. But his armourbearer would not; for he was sore afraid. So Saul took a sword, and fell upon it. 4 Then Saul said to his armor-bearer, "Draw your sword and thrust me through with it, lest these uncircumcised come and mistreat me." But his armor-bearer would not, for he feared greatly. Therefore Saul took his own sword and fell upon it.

4 Then Saul said to the officer who carried his armor, "Pull out your sword and stab me. If you don't, these Philistines who are not circumcised will come and hurt me." But Saul's officer refused, because he was afraid. So Saul took his own sword and threw himself on it. 4 Saul told his armor bearer, "Draw your sword and stab me with it. Otherwise these uncircumcised people will come and torture me." But his armor bearer refused to do it, because he was very afraid. So Saul took the sword and fell on it. 4 Then Saul said to his armor bearer, "Draw your sword and run me through with it, otherwise these uncircumcised Philistines will come and abuse and humiliate me." But his armor bearer would not, for he was terrified. (C1)So Saul took his own sword and fell on it.4 Then Saul said to his armor bearer, "Draw your sword and thrust me through with it, otherwise these uncircumcised Philistines will come and abuse me." But his armor bearer would not, for he was very afraid. (C1)So Saul took his own sword and fell on it.4 Then said Saul to his armor-bearer, Draw your sword, and thrust me through therewith, lest these uncircumcised come and abuse me. But his armor-bearer would not; for he was sore afraid. Therefore Saul took his sword, and fell on it. 4 Then sayde Saul to his armour bearer, Drawe out thy sworde, and thrust me thorowe therewith, lest these vncircumcised come and mocke at me: but his armour bearer would not, for he was sore afraid: therefore Saul tooke the sword and fell vpon it.4 Then Saul said to his armor bearer, "Draw your sword and pierce me through with it, lest these uncircumcised come and abuse me." But his armor bearer was not willing, for he was greatly afraid. (C1)So Saul took his sword and fell on it.4 Then Saul said to his armor-bearer, “Draw your sword and run it through me, or these uncircumcised men will come and torture me!” But his armor-bearer refused, because he was terrified. So Saul took his own sword and fell on it.

4 Saul told the soldier who carried his weapons, "Kill me with your sword! I don't want those godless Philistines to torture and make fun of me."

But the soldier was afraid to kill him. Then Saul stuck himself in the stomach with his own sword and fell on the blade. 4 Sha'ul said to his armor-bearer, "Draw your sword and run me through with it. Otherwise, these uncircumcised men will come and make sport of me." But his armor-bearer refused; he was too frightened. So Sha'ul took his sword and fell on it.

4 Then said Saul to his armour-bearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through with it; lest these uncircumcised come and abuse me. But his armour-bearer would not; for he was much afraid. So Saul took the sword and fell on it.

4 Then Saul said to the helper who carried his armor, "Pull out your sword and use it to kill me. Then these foreigners[a] will not hurt me and make fun of me when they come."

But the helper was afraid. He refused to kill Saul. So Saul used his own sword to kill himself by falling on it.4 Then Saul said to his armourbearer, Draw your sword, and thrust me through with it, before these uncircumcised come and slay me and torment me. But his armourbearer would not; for he was sore afraid. So Saul took his own sword and fell on it. 4 He said to the young man carrying his weapons, "Draw your sword and kill me, to keep these godless Philistines from gloating over me." But the young man was too terrified to do it. So Saul took his own sword and threw himself on it. 4 And Saul said to his armor-bearer, "Draw your sword and thrust me through with it, lest these uncircumcised come and deal harshly with me." But he was very afraid. Then Saul took the sword and fell upon it. 4 And Saul said to his armor-bearer, Draw your sword and pierce me with it, that these uncircumcised ones not come and abuse me. And the armor-bearer was not willing, for he exceedingly feared. And Saul took the sword and fell on it.4 Then sayde Saul vnto his weapenbearer: Drawe out thy swerde, and thrust it thorow me, that these vncircumcysed come not, and deale shamefully with me. Neuertheles his weapenbearer wolde not, for he was sore afrayed. Then toke Saul his swerde, and fell therin. 4 Then said Saul unto his armorbearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith, lest these uncircumcised come and [c]abuse me. But his armorbearer would not; for he was sore afraid. Therefore Saul took his sword, and fell upon it. 4 Then Saul said to the servant who had the care of his arms, Take your sword and put it through me, before these men without circumcision come and make sport of me. But his servant, full of fear, would not do so. Then Saul took out his sword, falling on it himself.4 Then saide Saul to his harnesse bearer: Drawe thy sword, and thrust me through therwith, that these vncircumcised come not and do me shame. But his harnesse bearer would not, for he feared exceedingly: So Saul caught a sword, and fell vpon it.4 Then said Saul unto his armour-bearer: 'Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and make a mock of me.' But his armour-bearer would not; for he was sore afraid. Therefore Saul took his sword, and fell upon it.4 Then saide Saul to his armour bearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith, lest these vncircumcised come, and abuse mee: but his armour bearer would not, for he was sore afraid. So Saul tooke a sword, and fell vpon it. 4 And Saul said to his armour-bearer, Draw thy sword, and pierce me through with it, lest these uncircumcised come and mock me. But his armour-bearer would not, for he was greatly afraid: so Saul took a sword, and fell upon it. 4 Then said Saul unto his armourbearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith: lest these uncircumcised come and abuse me. But his armourbearer would not; for he was sore afraid. Therefore Saul took his sword, and fell upon it. 4 And Saul seide to his squiere, Drawe out thi swerd, and sle me, leste these vncircumcidid men come, and scorne me. Sothli his squyer was aferd bi drede, and nolde do this; therfor Saul took a swerd, and felde on it.4 Then said Saul to his armor-bearer, Draw your sword, and thrust me through therewith, or else these uncircumcised will come and abuse me. But his armor-bearer would not; for he was very afraid. Therefore Saul took his sword, and fell on it.4 Then said Saul to his armor-bearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and abuse me. But his armor-bearer would not; for he was greatly afraid. So Saul took a sword, and fell upon it.4 Then Saul said to his armorbearer, "Draw your sword, and thrust me through with it, lest these uncircumcised men come and abuse me." But his armorbearer would not, for he was greatly afraid. Therefore Saul took a sword and fell on it.

4 Saul groaned to his armor bearer, "Take your sword and kill me before these pagan Philistines come to taunt and torture me."

But his armor bearer was afraid and would not do it. So Saul took his own sword and fell on it. 4 Then Saul said to the one who carried his battle-clothes, "Take your sword and kill me with it. Or these men who have not gone through our religious act will come and make fun of me." But the one who carried his battle-clothes would not do it. For he was very afraid. So Saul took his sword and fell on it. 4 Then Saul said to his armor-bearer, "Draw your sword, and thrust me through with it, so that these uncircumcised may not come and make sport of me." But his armor-bearer was unwilling, for he was terrified. So Saul took his own sword and fell on it. 4 Therefore said Saul unto his armour-bearer, Draw out thy sword and thrust me through therewith, lest these uncircumcised come and abuse me. But his armour-bearer would not, for he feared greatly, - so then Saul took the sword, and fell upon it.4 And Saul said to his armourbearer: Draw thy sword, and kill me: lest these uncircumcised come, and mock me. But his armourbearer would not, for he was struck with fear: so Saul took his sword, and fell upon it.4 Then Saul said to his armor-bearer, "Draw your sword, and thrust me through with it, lest these uncircumcised come and make sport of me." But his armor-bearer would not; for he feared greatly. Therefore Saul took his own sword, and fell upon it.4 and Saul saith unto the bearer of his weapons, `Draw thy sword, and pierce me with it, lest these uncircumcised come -- and have abused me.' And the bearer of his weapons hath not been willing, for he feareth exceedingly, and Saul taketh the sword, and falleth upon it;4 and Saul says to the bearer of his weapons, "Draw your sword and pierce me with it, lest these uncircumcised come and have abused me." And the bearer of his weapons has not been willing, for he fears exceedingly, and Saul takes the sword, and falls on it;4 Then Saul said to his armor bearer, "Draw your sword and thrust me through with it, otherwise these uncircumcised will come and abuse me." But his armor bearer would not, for he was greatly afraid. (C1)Therefore Saul took his sword and fell on it.5 When his armor-bearer saw that Saul was dead, he also fell on his own sword and died. 5 When his armor-bearer saw that Sha'ul was dead, he likewise fell on his sword, and died.

5 And when his armourbearer saw that Saul was dead, he fell likewise on the sword, and died. 5 And when his armor-bearer saw that Saul was dead, he also fell upon his sword and died. 5 When the officer saw that Saul was dead, he threw himself on his own sword and died. 5 When his armor bearer saw that Saul was dead, he also fell on his sword and died. 5 When his armor bearer saw that Saul was dead, he also fell on his sword and died.5 When his armor bearer saw that Saul was dead, he likewise fell on his sword and died.5 When his armor-bearer saw that Saul was dead, he likewise fell on his sword, and died. 5 And when his armour bearer saw that Saul was dead, he fell likewise vpon the sworde, and dyed.5 Then his armor bearer saw that Saul was dead, so he also fell on his sword and died.5 When his armor-bearer saw that Saul was dead, he too fell on his own sword and died. 5 When the soldier realized that Saul was dead, he killed himself in the same way. 5 When his armor-bearer saw that Sha'ul was dead, he too fell on his own sword and died.

5 And when his armour-bearer saw that Saul was dead, he fell likewise on the sword, and died. 5 When the helper saw that Saul was dead, he also fell on his own sword and died.5 And when his armorbearer saw that Saul was dead, he fell likewise on his sword, and died with him. 5 The young man saw that Saul was dead, so he too threw himself on his sword and died. 5 When his armor-bearer saw that Saul was dead, he also fell upon the sword, and he died. 5 And the armor-bearer saw that Saul was dead, and he also fell on the sword and died.5 Whan his weapenbearer sawe that Saul was deed, he fell vpon his swerde also, and dyed. 5 And when his armorbearer saw that Saul was dead, he likewise fell upon his sword, and died. 5 And when his servant saw that Saul was dead, he did the same, and came to his death.5 And when his harnesse bearer saw that Saul was dead, he fell on a sword also, and dyed.5 And when his armour-bearer saw that Saul was dead, he likewise fell upon his sword, and died. 5 And when his armour bearer saw that Saul was dead, hee fell likewise on the sword, and died. 5 And his armour-bearer saw that Saul was dead, and he also fell upon his sword. 5 And when his armourbearer saw that Saul was dead, he likewise fell upon his sword, and died. 5 And whanne his squyer hadde seyn this, that is, that Saul was deed, he felde also on his swerd, and was deed.5 And when his armor-bearer saw that Saul was dead, he likewise fell on his sword, and died.5 And when his armor-bearer saw that Saul was dead, he fell likewise on the sword, and died.5 And when his armorbearer saw that Saul was dead, he also fell on his sword and died. 5 When his armor bearer realized that Saul was dead, he fell on his own sword and died. 5 When the one who carried his battle-clothes saw that Saul was dead, he fell on his sword and died also. 5 When his armor-bearer saw that Saul was dead, he also fell on his sword and died. 5 And, when his armour-bearer saw that Saul was dead, then, he also, fell upon the sword, and died.5 And when his armourbearer saw it, to wit, that Saul was dead, he also fell upon his sword and died.5 And when his armor-bearer saw that Saul was dead, he also fell upon his sword, and died.5 and the bearer of his weapons seeth that Saul [is] dead, and falleth, he also, on the sword, and dieth;5 and the bearer of his weapons sees that Saul [is] dead, and falls, he also, on the sword, and dies;5 When his armor bearer saw that Saul was dead, he likewise fell on his sword and died.6 So Saul and his three sons died—his whole house died together.

6 Saul, three of his sons, and all his male relatives were dead. 6 Thus Sha'ul, his three sons and all his household died together.

6 So Saul died, and his three sons, and all his house died together. 6 So Saul and three of his sons died. All of Saul's family died together.6 So Saul died and his three sons and his armourbearer, and all his mighty men died on that day together. 6 So Saul and his three sons all died together, and none of his descendants ever ruled. 6 So Saul died. And his three sons and all his house died together. 6 And Saul and his three sons died, and all his house; they died together.6 Thus died Saul and his thre sonnes, and all his housholde together. 6 So Saul died, and his three sons; and all his house died together.6 So death overtook Saul and his three sons; all his family came to an end together.6 And thus Saul and his three sonnes and al they of his house, dyed together.6 So Saul died, and his three sons; and all his house died together.6 So Saul died, and his three sonnes, and all his house died together. 6 So Saul died, and his three sons on that day, and all his family died at the same time. 6 So Saul died, and his three sons; and all his house died together. 6 Therfor Saul perischide, and hise thre sones, and al his hows felde doun togidere.6 So Saul died, and his three sons; and all his house died together.6 So Saul died, and his three sons, and all his house died together.6 So Saul and his three sons died, and all his house died together. 6 So Saul and his three sons died there together, bringing his dynasty to an end. 6 So Saul died with his three sons. All those of his house died together. 6 Thus Saul died; he and his three sons and all his house died together. 6 So Saul died, and his three sons, and, all his house, together, died.6 So Saul died, and his three sons, and all his house fell together.6 Thus Saul died; he and his three sons and all his house died together.6 and Saul dieth, and his three sons, and all his house -- together they died.6 and Saul dies, and his three sons, and all his house—they died together.6-7 So Saul and his three sons—all four the same day—died. When all the Israelites in the valley saw that the army had fled and that Saul and his sons were dead, they abandoned their cities and ran off; the Philistines came and moved in.6 (C1)Thus Saul died with his three sons, and all those of his house died together.

7 When all the men of Israel in the valley saw that the army had fled and that Saul and his sons were dead, they abandoned their cities and fled. So the Philistines came and settled in them.

7 When all the men of Yisra'el who were in the valley saw that they fled, and that Sha'ul and his sons were dead, they forsook their cities, and fled; and the Pelishtim came and lived in them.
