קְרָב m. (with Kametz impure) battle, war (from the root קָרַב, letter d), a word (except 2 Samuel 17:11) only found in poetry (Syr. ܩܪܳܒܐܳ id.), Psalms 55:19, 22 Psalms 55:22; Job 38:23. Pl. קְרָבוֹת Psalms 68:31.
