סוּחָה noun feminine offal; — absolute in simile נִבְלָתָםכַּסּוּחָה בְּקֶרֶבּ חוּצוֺת Isaiah 5:25.
סוּחָה f. i.q. סְחִי sweepings, filth, dung, Isaiah 5:25, כַּסּוּחָה. LXX. ὡς κοπρία. Vulg. quasi stercus. Targ. כְּסָחִיתָא. Kimchi considered the letter כ to be radical in this word, so that כַּסּוּחָה would be from the root كسح to sweep away; whence كُسَا حَةُ sweepings; but כְּ of resemblance in such a sentence could hardly be omitted by ellipsis.
