";a pig"; : P Tebt I. 190 (early i/B.C.) τιμὴν χοίρου (δραχμαὶ) η ̄, Chrest. I. 73.6 (A.D.247–8) an order that πάντας τοὺς χοίρους ἐξελασθῆναι ἀπὸ ἱεροῦ κώμης Τάλμεως, in order that the sacred service may not be disturbed (cf. OGIS 210), P Flor II. 166.1 ff. (iii. A.D.) τὸν χοῖρον καὶ τὰ δελφάκια (";sucking pigs";) τὰ β ̄ καλὰ παράδος Γρηγωρίῳ τῷ μαγείρῳ μου, ἀλλὰ ἤτω ὁ χοῖρος καλός, P Oxy VI. 901.5 (A.D. 336) ἡμέτεροι χῦροι δύο τὴν ὁρμὴν ποιούμενοι ἐπὶ ἡμέτερον ἔδαφος (cf.
