בֹּהוּ m. (for בֹּהֶז, of a segolate form), emptiness, voidness, and concr. something void and empty. It is three times joined paranomastically with the word תֹּהוּ, Genesis 1:2; Jeremiah 4:23; Isaiah 34:11 [which are all its occurrences].
