Vocabulary of the Greek NT
Grimm’s citation from Philo is the more welcome in that even Vettius Valens (p. 150.29—adverb pp. 158.4, 304.24) still uses διδασκαλικός, which Grimm notes as the classical form : see under διδάσκαλος. MGr keeps δασκαλικός, ";of a school-master.";
