2 — Late Hebrew Hiph`il denominative is breed worms, etc.); — Participle plural מְתֻלָּעִים Nahum 2:4 ("" מְאָדָּם).
תָּלַע unused in Kal, Arab. تلح to have a long neck, to be stretched out; whence תּוֹלָע a worm. [From יָלַע Thes.]
