שִׁבֹּלֶת plur. שִׁבֳּלִים f.
(1) an ear of corn (from the root שָׁבַל No. 2), Job 24:24; Genesis 41:5, seq.; Isaiah 17:5. (Arab. سُنْبَلَةُ Dagesh resolved into Nun).
(2) a stream (see the root No. 3), Psalms 69:3, Psalms 69:6; Isaiah 27:12.
