Pu`al Perfect 3 plural רֻתְּקוּ בַזִּקִּים Nahum 3:10 her great ones were bound with fetters
Niph`al Imperfect 3 masculine singular יֵרָתֵק Ecclesiastes 12:6 Qr (ירחק Kt), from context = be snapped, broken; read probably יִנָּתֵק (Pfannkuche Thes and modern).
רָתַק not used in Kal, to tie, to bind. Arab. رتق to close, to sew together.
Niphal, Ecclesiastes 12:6 קרי (in a contrary signification), to be unbound, loosed. כתיב has יֵרָחֵק to be removed.
