צִן [Zin], pr.n. (Talmud צִין, a low palm tree), a desert situated to the south of Palestine, to the west of Idumæa, where was the town of קָדֵשׁ בַּרְנֵעַ Numbers 13:21, 20:1 27:14 with ה parag. צִנָה Numbers 34:4; Joshua 15:3.
