 [צָחַח] verb be dazzling (ᵑ7צַחְצַח polish; Syriac be scorched, Aph`el declare in writing (make clear), clarus, lucidus, fulgidus; , , smooth, plain); —

Qal Perfect 3 plural צַחוּ מֵחָלָב Lamentations 4:7 ("" זַכּוּ מִשֶּׁלֶג), they are more dazzling (i.e. whiter) than milk (of effeminate skin).

צָחַח

(1)  to be bright, to be white, Lamentations 4:7.

(2) to be sunny, shone on by the sun; whence צַח, צְחִיחַ, צְחִיחָה, צַחְצָחוֹת. (Arab. صِحُّ sunny, dry; Syr. ܨܰܚ to be hot, serene; ܨܝܝܺܚܐܳ hot; Ch. צַחְצֵחַ to make to shine, to polish. Further, the signification of shining and being bright is widely extended in the roots from the biliteral stock צח, also in those beginning with the softened letter צה, זה, and without any sibilant טח, טה; compare צָחָה, צָחַר; צָהָה, צָהַב, צָהַר, צָהַל; זָהָה, זָהַב, זָהַר; טָחַר, טָהַר.)
