עָשָׂר m. & עֶשְׂרֵה f. id., only used in numbers compounded with ten, as אַחַד עָשָׂר m. eleven; עָשָׂר אַרְבָּעָה m. fourteen; שִׁשָּׁה עָשָׂר sixteen, m.; also eleventh, fourteenth, sixteenth; fem. אַחַת עֶשְׂרֵה eleven; שֵׁשׁ עֶשְׂרֵה sixteen, also eleventh, sixteenth.
Pl. עֶשְׂרִים (from the sing. עֶשְׂרֵה)
(1) twenty, of both genders, with a sing. and pl. noun, Genesis 31:38; Leviticus 27:5.
(2) twentieth, Numbers 10:11; 1 Kings 15:9, 16:10.
