עָשְׁקָה fem. oppression, which any one suffers; hence anguish, distress. Isaiah 38:14, עָֽשְׁקָה־לִּי (read ǒshkal-li, notwithstanding the Metheg, as in בָּֽתֵּיהֶם, שָֽׁמְרֵנִי, see Lehrg. p. 43) “I am in anguish.”
