עִקֵּשׁ adj. m.
(1) perverse. לֵבָב עִקֵּשׁ a perverse heart, Psalms 101:4, and vice versâ עִקֶּשׁ־לֵבָב a man perverse of mind, Proverbs 11:20, 17:20. עִקֵּשׁ שְׂפָתָיו perverse in lips, i.e. a man of fraudulent speech, Proverbs 19:1. Absol. deceitful, false, Deuteronomy 32:5; Psalms 18:27; Proverbs 8:8.
