סֵעֵף verbal adj. (of the form קִטֵּל) divided, i.e. a person of a divided mind, who, being destitute of firm faith and persuasion as to divine things, is driven hither and thither; a doubter, a sceptic, σκεπτικός. Pl. סֵעֲפִים Psalms 119:113 Luth. Flattergeifter.
