נְבֵלָה f. const. נִבְלַת (Psalms 79:2); with suff. נְבֵלָתִי Isaiah 26:19 elsewhere נִבְלָֽתְךָ, נִבְלָתוֹ, a corpse (see the root No. 2; compare מַפֶּלֶת from the root נָפַל), of men, Deuteronomy 21:23 of animals, Levit. 5:2 7:24 figuratively of idols, Jeremiah 16:18 compare פֶּגֶר Leviticus 26:30. Collect. corpses, Levit. 11:11 Isaiah 26:19. (Arab. نَبِيلَةُ id.)
