1271) yl (לתס LTs) AC: Scorn CO: ? AB: Interpret: The pictograph l represents authority and the tongue as the authority, the y is a picture of a man on his side representing trouble. Combined these mean "tongue of trouble". The sound of one speaking a foreign language or the mocking of anothers speech.

מְלִיצָה f. (from the root לוּץ).
(1) a mocking song, Habakkuk 2:6, see the root Kal No. 2.
(2) prop. an interpretation; hence what needs an interpretation, an enigma, an obscure saying, Proverbs 1:6.
