Gesenius' Hebrew and Chaldee Definition

מוֹרָט (from the root יָרַט) m. destruction. Isaiah 18:2, גּוֹי מְמֻשָּׁךְ וּמוֹרָט “a mighty and destructive nation.” Others take מוֹרָט as part. Pual from מָרַט for מְמֹרָט fierce, active. [So Ges. in Thes.]
