(1) demonstr. pron. Psalms 12:8; Habakkuk 1:11, זוּ כֹתוֹ לֵאלֹהוֹ “this his strength (is) for a god to him.” More frequently also
(2) it is used as a relative, Exodus 15:13; Psalms 9:16, 142:4, and thus as a sign of relation, Isaiah 43:21, 42:24, זוּ חָטָאנוּ לוֹ “against whom we have sinned.”
(In the Talmud זו not unfrequently is used for זה, and also in its compounded forms. The Tayitic Arabs are accustomed to use ذو for الذى; see Schult. ad Har. ii. p. 75.)
